"We're gonna be good tonight, we're gonna get you feeling right... We're gonna be good tonight, we're the good, good guys! Oh yeah!~" The crew of four experienced thieves blitzed from the main road leading up to the abandoned compound guided by nothing but song all whilst they felt their radio crackling and eventually cease playing any music by the time they approached the danger side outside.

"Alright, ladies... It's time for us to put away the bike and return that briefcase to its sender because it is showtime!" Wolf confidently hit the button on the motorbike with the headlights fading into non-existence and their surroundings being lit up by none other than the galaxy above alongside the street lamps in the distance all the while Piranha huffed.

"Ladies? Is that what you think I am, huh? A lady? JUST BECAUSE I LIKE STUFFED ANIMALS AND DRESS-UP- THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME A-"

"Piranha! Sh!" Diane clamped her paw around Piranha's mouth before handing him a pair of sunglasses bearing the ability of night vision. "Before you go ahead and get your panties in a twist, we need to scout out this place and assign roles to one another. I doubt radio communications won't work but it appears my night vision glasses still work so we should be a-okay to move," Whilst her and Wolf lifted off their motorcycle helmets and hid them inside of a bush, Tarantula used her laptop to pick up on some nearby signal disruptions.

"My laptop happens to be immune to the ionised-crystal electromagnetic pulse thingies that render technology useless but it can pick up what's going on inside of the crater left behind by Mr. Snake's explosion and it doesn't look good," Webs clicked a button with one of her legs that bore her signature tattoo as the screen expanded in size for everyone to gaze upon. "I could try sending a pulse back as firing off the frequency is easy but there comes the chance of... I don't know, Marmalade potentially knowing we're here!" Web's set of screens showed alerts advising that technology not be used due to the electromagnetic pulses firing off from the fragments of the meteorite.

"In that case, I suggest we do it old school and use some probes that look totally normal for a vixen to have inside of her underground lair!" Moe unveiled a nightstick which glowed blue, indicating that it was a probing device for the Love Crater Meteorite. "Seriously? This thing vibrates and everything and you're telling me it's meant to act like a metal detector for the meteorite? I find that hard to believe," Wolf wrapped the end around his paw, powered on the button and watched it light up whilst vibrating before Foxington switched it off and brought her muzzle up to his fluffy black and grey ears.

"The vibrations are to send pulses to and from the meteorite and it'll be even more useful when there are most likely fragments scattered into the land nearby," Although he couldn't see it, Foxington was scowling immensely thanks to his childish assumptions. "Besides, it can get a little boring sometimes merely searching for these things and I don't think we were able to find them all during the excavation project anyways," She then proceeded to encourage his behaviour all whilst turning around to face the rest of the crew, striking a stunning pose as always.

"Alright, listen up, gang! We may be missing half of you but there's a reason why those who are under two and a half feet have been selected for this operation!" Wolf snickered all the while Tarantula folded her arms up and Piranha's jaw gaped open. "Alright, scales, you can close that jaw before you end up accidentally trapping a fly," Foxington's remark prompted Piranha to close his mouth as she continued her speech. "Piranha, you're going to be taking one of these meteorite fragment detection devices and sweeping a two hundred metre radius surrounding the explosion site as well as the fences that are held in place blocking our entry. Tarantula, you're going to be in charge of searching the rubble in the hopes of finding some meteorite dust or fragments whilst traversing the old vent system that somehow still stands after the explosion... You're also going to be in charge of looking for any tunnels so I recommend taking a radar device that sends pulses into the ground to search for any disruptions."

"I swear I remember Professor Marmalade's laboratory mostly being contained underground. If the meteorite was detonated on the bottom floor before annihilating everything in its path, how come the air conditioning system still stands triumphant other than it being wrecked?" Wolf's question prompted Diane to creep up close to him, lean on his shoulder and tilt her muzzle towards him as she put her hoodie up and deviously smiled at her canine companion.

"That, my love... Is because the air conditioning system happens to be made out of a reinforced layer of titanium and we're still studying the elements," Foxington proceeded to continue leaning on him as she entered a rambling state. "Besides, it's not like it's a big deal and our excavation teams totally couldn't get through the material that was found at the bottom of the crater the entire time. We always assumed it might have been the foundation but there was also fear of another layer being included with the laboratory... Babe, am I sweating? I don't know why but it just got super hot in here-"

"Diane... Honey, are you hiding something from us that we should know? What happened to the excavation crew whilst we were inside of prison? I swear this place shouldn't be walled off like this when the rubble should've been removed a long time ago..." Wolf looked up towards the massive steel gates lining the exterior alongside the concrete walls and the multitudinous signs translated into different languages that warned the larger public not to approach the site or to loiter for extended periods of time. "Governor Foxington..." Moe always had a way with his charm as he placed his paws around Foxington's slim shoulders all the while Piranha and Webs looked on in awe.

"I- uh... Ahem... I- I arranged for the excavation of the site because I wanted to learn more about the meteorite only to learn it... Uhm... Kept attacking the scientists that got too close to the smouldering pile of rocks near the middle of the exploded crater, almost as if it were defending itself and had a life of its own... Allow me to explain further..."
