As I finish writing chapter 8 of Royal blood here is a quick peak into what the ritual will look like featuring our adorable little bean Yachi
"What's happening?" Yachi looked around the room she was in. It was a dark room that has a single chair in the middle of it which she was seated in. "Where's everyone else? Where's-" "Ah I see you're awake." Yachi turned and saw Kiyoko. "Kiyoko! What's going on? Where am I?" Kiyoko walked closer to Yachi and gently grabbed her hands. "Yachi you're safe. It's okay." Kiyoko whispered.
Yachi looked up at Kiyoko feeling her heart pound in her chest. Kiyoko hugged Yachi trying to calm her down. "Where are my friends? Who were those guys in hoods? Did we do something wrong?" Kiyoko shook her head. "No Yachi you and your friends have done nothing wrong." Yachi took in a few shakey breaths. "You and your friends are here because well.......you are me and my friends destined mates." Yachi's eyes widened. "We're what?" She asked. Kiyoko pulled away just a bit. She opened her mouth revealing her fangs. "Oh-oh my god." Yachi whispered.
"I'm not going to hurt you Yachi. I just need to do something." Yachi tilted her head. "As part of vampire tradition vampires mark their mates before the mating ritual." Yachi gulped as Kiyoko hugged her closer. Yachi closed her eyes prepared to feel a searing pain in her neck but no pain came. She felt a small prick as Kiyoko gently bit her neck and slowly took little gulps of her blood. After a bit she pulled away revealing her red teeth. "Now I've marked you. No other vampires will dare to try and hurt you." Yachi felt her body shaking as Kiyoko helped her up. "N-now what?" Kiyoko smiled softly. "Now everything will be explained. After all the ritual is in a week." Kiyoko smiled.
Ah yes we love a small peak into the future
