"Ouch."  I rubbed my head.  The damn person was tall.  I brushed my longish beige-white hair out of my face so I could see properly.  The person in front of me was around my age.  He had hazel brown hair and looked a little nerdy.

"I am so so sorry." The stranger stammered.  I scrunch my face,

"Isn't it my fault? I mean, I did start walking into you."  I wasn't wrong, but I wasn't entirely right either.  He had to have been standing directly behind me for me to run into him.

"No no, sorry. I was waiting for you to move but then you turned around and I didn't move fast enough and-"

"Okay, I get it, you didn't expect me to move.  How about we just move on with our day."  I shushed his rambling.  I really didn't have time for it.  I had to find the nearest bridge and jump off.

"Oh right, s-sorry again."  He stuttered.  Man, was I that scary?  I mean, he's taller than me by at least seven inches.

"Ryden!"  Please don't jump off a bridge I'm sorry I'm late!" A breathless Emuri shouted.  Aw man.  Now I can't jump off a bridge.  Emuri ran up to me and leaned over, panting like he'd just ran a marathon.

"Jump off a bridge?"  Oh right.  The stranger was still here.

"Inside joke." I explained.  Wait, why were they still here.

"Why are you still here?"  I questioned.  It probably sounded rude but I was genuinely confused.

"O-oh, umm, I kinda go here?"  Oh.  I guess that would explain why he was waiting for me to move.

"Hey, we do too! We're new though."  Emuri, the ever-oblivious human, stated in an oh so cheery voice you'd never guess he has a demon side.  Which he did for the record.  He was a mean hacker, almost as good as me, and definitely could hold his own in a fight.  Courtesy of the five years of taekwondo he and I took.

"Oh cool! I'm Peter Parker by the way."

"I'm Emuri Delvaux and this is Ryden Hoshiomi." Why would you tell my full name.

"Nice names, what're your first classes?"  The now dubbed Peter Parker continued to make conversation with Emuri.  And we as a group began to shuffle our way into the school.  I kinda just stayed quiet and observed the halls, only joining the conversation when asked.  All too soon we reached the principal's office, we needed our schedule or something like that.  Peter left us at the door, saying he needed to meet his friends at his class but would like to see us at lunch.

Emuri took the first step of knocking on the principal's door.  A muffled 'Come in' could be heard and he opened the door.  We stepped inside the room.  It was painted an off-white and had navy trim.  The wall paper had a transparent pattern of leaves.  There were a few bookshelves, and a wooden desk cluttered with some things.  Behind the desk was a chair, and a man in his forties.

"Emuri Delvaux and Ryden Hoshiomi, I presume."  He was Asian looking and his voice was flat.  Fun guy.

"That's us!"  Well, Emuri seems to be doing the talking for both of us.

"I'm Mr. Morita, here is your schedule and have a nice day."  Like I said, fun guy.

"Thanks." I spoke this time, grabbing Emuri and I's schedule while quickly herding him out.  I shut the door a little harsher than necessary.  The end of first period bell could be heard, and we started walking in a direction I hoped would lead us to the next class.

There was a commotion a little ways down, and I could see a small crowd around... Peter?!  And some Indian looking kid with bleached hair.  Ew, it wasn't a good look for him.

"Excuse me," I said to Emuri, "I have to go make a scene."  He just sighed and knew there was no stopping me.  I strutted confidently over to the group, the Indian boy's minions moved out of the way, albeit after I pushed one who hadn't.

"Hey."  Peter's eyes widen when he sees me, and makes a shooing motion with his hands desperately.  The Indian kid turned around.

"Who're you." His voice was haughty, and I didn't like that.

"Get out of my way, you sorry excuse for an intolerable ass pastry."  Some of the lakeys snickered, but blondie's glare turned over to them and they shut up real quick.

"I'm sorry, what?"  He scoffed.

"No one asked for your opinion, you abominable shit goblin."  I walked towards Peter and offered my hand.  He hesitated and I impatiently gestured.  I pulled him towards Emuri and turned back to the blondie.

"Can you go gawk somewhere else, I don't feel like closing your mouth."  And with that I pulled  Emuri and Peter down the hall, and I didn't stop until we were far away from the idiots.
