Dear Guren Ichinose,

You probably don't remember me but in 7th grade when we met, I felt love at first sight when I saw you and you cleaned up the Starbucks drink I had spilled all over the floor and myself. For the first time in my life, I had felt feelings so strong for someone it made my stomach flutter. I also felt a little ashamed of myself, I thought. How would people at school react if they knew I liked boys? and How would my family react if they knew? I got really worried and I never told you my feelings, so now we're in 11th grade and you still don't know who I am. You seem so quiet and grumpy in class. You're eyes remind me of amethysts, and they're so beautiful. You, Guren, have stolen my heart--

"Ah-" Shinya looked up from his journal to see a freshman-year girl with purple hair and a big bow on the back of her head towering over him. Her name was Shinoa Hiiragi, she was his younger sister. She had a mischievous grin as usual. Shinya worried that she might have seen what he was writing. "What do you want?" Shinya held his journal close to his chest to hide it. Shinoa laughs.

"What'cha writing 'lover boy,'" Shinoa teased. Shinya went red from embarrassment. He frowned and sighed.

"None of your business.." Shinya mumbled. Shinoa smiled and let it go. "Why are you here anyway?" Shinya asked.

"Mmmm. Good question brother! Why am I here hm? Well look around- the classroom is empty, the bell rang and you were still in your head writing your love stories that you didn't notice and you're late to your next class." Shinoa smirked again.

"What?! Really?!" Shinya hurriedly got up out of his seat.

"Just kiddinggg.. It's actually lunchtime." Shinoa laughed. Shinya gave her a cold stare before sitting down and sighing again. "Soo.. What were you writing?" Shinoa grinned. "Was it a love letter to a boy you've liked since 7th grade but never told them about your feelings because you're ashamed?" Shinoa said all that in one breath. Shinya turned beet red.

"No, it was nothing like that!" Shinya denied. "You're just fantasizing now." Shinya turned his head away from Shinoa. He was still clinging to his journal tightly to his chest. His journal.. It was more like a diary where he would write about all his fantasies and feelings of love when it was all too overwhelming. Sometimes it was just easier for him to put those feelings into ink written on paper. If somehow he lost the journal or anyone at this school had read it, he would absolutely kill himself. Well, figuratively of course..

"So then, what's the real reason you're here?" Shinya questioned while turning to look back at Shinoa.

"Isn't it obvious? I wanted to check up on my dear older brother." Shinoa giggled making Shinya roll his eyes in annoyance. Then..

BRINGG

The bell had rung signaling that lunch was over. "Dammit I never had a chance to eat my lunch, this is your fault" Shinya snickered. He picked up his stuff and walked out of the classroom- he hurried to his next class and sat down at his desk arriving a bit early. Shinya calmed down a bit and got ready for whatever the class discussion would be. That was until the teacher announced a seat rearrangement. Personally, Shinya liked where he sat but he followed orders and took a seat in his new seat. It was the back row near the window, Shinya had wondered who would sit next to him this time. What he didn't expect is for Guren's desk to be seated right next to Shinya's desk! Shinya couldn't keep calm. Guren. The Guren that made Shinya fall head over heels for him in the 7th grade. Shinya felt himself start to sweat a bit. This was embarrassing, what if he looked over here? What would he think? Shinya turned a bit red and tried to hide his face with his hair. He flinched when he heard someone speak to him.
