Author POV Since that day when Acnologia helped Jeanette get back home, they continued to see each other several times. Even though Jeanette knew who he really was, she was not afraid of him. Surprised yes, but not afraid. This girl was really... something. At first he thought it odd that she wasn't afraid of him, after all what sane person wouldn't be afraid if they came face to face with the god of destruction himself?...Not her that's for sure. However, he himself would never have believed that he could tolerate the presence of a human being so close to him. Hell, he even ended up really enjoying her company.
But...there was something about this girl that bothered him. He felt like there was something wrong with her, not in her personality or intentions but in her body, literally. He could tell it was something dark, like black magic. So this girl is a chimera. Ugh... he hated that word, it didn't fit on someone like jeannette.
"How ironic, she is made of dark magic but her soul is so pure" he thought.
But he also noticed something else, apparently this magic has been...regulated? It seems that a magician did this to avoid a magical overflow. Regulating an overflow of dark magic in a body is very difficult and requires experience, so the magician who did this must be quite powerful.
...But not enough to completely eradicate the dark magic from her body. Acnologia knew the harmful effects it could have on others, especially those with powerful mana. Too much exposure to dark magic could kill them as it absorbs their magic like a leech. But dark magic is completely harmless to a god, he had nothing to fear.
Acnologia POV I was alone in the redwood forest where Jeanette and I used to spend time together. I was thinking about her black magic, I talked to her about it and she told me I didn't have to worry, that she was used to living with it. Carefree child...no one should be used to living with dark magic... I should do something to fix this, after all this kid is innocent and shouldn't have to live with this damned magic in her. She didn't deserve this.
« I need to wipe out all the dark magic in her body and replace it with my divine mana... »I say as I think about it.
« Hi Acno! »Said a voice shouting
Suddenly a young boy appeared in front of me with a bright smile plastered on his face.

« Sael... »I said tiredly.
« What's the matter? Aren't you happy to see me? »
« No. »
Sael made a sad face at my answer.
« you're mean! I thought we were friends! »he shed anime tears
I let out a heavy sigh of annoyance.
« stop crying like a baby, you're breaking my ears, tell me what you're doing here instead »
Author POV « I just wanted to meet the girl you're attached to, I thought she would be with you »
« stop talking nonsense, you know very well that I don't love anyone »
He tells him while denying the truth. He admits that he likes this girl a lot but he is the one who found her first, and what does this cheeky spirit want to do with her anyway?
« But yes, you know...the girl you helped get out of the forest! you know...the chimera.. »Sael emphasized the word chimera on purpose to see the reaction of the God.
In one fell swoop, Acnologia grabbed Sael by the neck and lifted him into the air. A very powerful but deadly magical aura surrounded him. He was furious. And since he was a god, his anger influenced the weather.
Grey clouds with lightning and thunder began to form and the wind began to blow harder and harder. It looked as if a violent storm was about to break out.
Acnologia gave Sael a sharp, murderous look that almost made him regret his words.
« Her name is Jeanette, so don't call her a chimera...don't ever call my daughter that »he said in a dangerously low voice.
Acnologia hadn't noticed that he had just called Jeanette his daughter. But for his own safety, Sael decided to keep quiet and not say anything to him.
"I'm only 850 years old, I'm too young to die"he thought.
« ok ok Acno, I promise you I will never call her that again »Sael said nervously
Acno seemed satisfied with his answer and gently put him down before letting go of his neck. The storm disappeared and everything returned to normal.
« Phew...I just wanted to know how much you loved Jeanette but I didn't think you'd react like this! »He says, rubbing his neck.
« Why did you want to know? »
« I was curious, after all you've never acted like this with anyone! »
Acnologia did not answer and turned his back. He began to walk away, motioning for the spirit to follow him.
« Where are we going? »
« To see Jeanette, I have to cure her of this cursed black magic »
« what!? so you let me meet her? »
« yes »
«Yeah! »
« shut up before I change my mind... »
They both left to find the brunette.
Sael POV I think back to what happened earlier. Acno called Jenny his daughter without even realising it and nearly killed me just because I called her a chimera, he was so angry at this moment. He developed a very strong paternal instinct towards her.
I'm very happy to see that he has found someone to love and protect. Loneliness can be hard to live with, especially when you are immortal. But I never thought he would get so attached to someone.
haaaa.. Jenny I feel sorry for the poor fools who will dare to disrespect you because with the god of destruction as your overprotective dad, nothing can save them.
