The next day, they were awakened by the sounds of cellmates yelling at the cops making them being angry. Bill stood up and walked around to exercise a bit then started breathing in and out to release stress. Laul just looked at him while staying quiet. A cop entered the cell and asked Laul to follow him/her. Laul was taken to the interrogation room where the cop asked her about the situation. "Is that man related to you?" The cop asked so Laul replied "no" then the cop asked "What is your relationship with the man?". Laul looked at the cop with a saddened look and said "We are nothing" so the cop asked "Then what were you doing with the man?". Laul feeling woozy replied " He was playing a board game and he called me... He started having a mental breakdown but... I did nothing. As a punishment our souls were united so i appeared in his house" the cop feeling confused asked "Your soul was united with the man's soul? Now you live at his house correct?" She replied"yes". Then the cop asked "What happened after?" so Laul replied"We fought then had dinner...to prove i am the grim reaper i took his father's soul. I didn't know how to return it so he died. After that i felt guilty and overdosed on some happiness pills. Those are scams, i took like a lot and I'm not happy". The cop called more cops and they had a discussion. Few minutes after they called Bill and told him about a surgery she might need to remove the pills.
(For context: She doesn't have a stomach anymore so everything she digests goes through a void in her mouth , it works as her new digestive system. After the food enters it's teleported to another void, that void throws out unwanted food.)

One of the cops asked "Would you consent for it? She's too drugged to think" so Bill replied "Yes, i want her off my life" then the cop called a doctor that would explain everything to Bill. Hours later Laul was placed in a hospital bed waiting for the surgery. The surgeons arrived,one surgeon gently opened her mouth. After that another surgeon grabbed a needle that had a type of Anesthesia (for Skeletons) that's used to calm the muscles that release the magic that creates the void. A surgeon grabbed tweezers to take the pills from her body. The process took 8 hours. (Bill was inside) The operation was a success so Bill thanked them. Hours after Laul noticed something was off... She stopped seeing unicorns pooping from the sky. She stopped hallucinating making her question Bill.
