Cassie's POV
I woke up laying on Axel's chest I smile as he's still sleeping. I stretch and do my usual morning routine before heading downstairs.
*Knock Knock*
"Coming Kelly, Jeez woman you always know when I'm awake- KYLE?"
"Nice to see you Cassie"
"What are you doing here?" I ask
"Oh I'm visiting L.A. for a filming project."
"So you are going to film school?" I ask
"Yes. I am how's your streaming career?" He asks
"Great. I have 3million followers now and things are fantastic." I say crossing my arms
He nods "That's great. Listen I just wanted to say I'm sorry for everything in the past.. I know I hurt you.."
"Yeah. You would always twist my words to make me the bad guy, guilt trip me into doing things I don't wanna. Not to mention you are a narcissist and a control freak." I say shaking my head
"I know I'm really sorry... I've moved on and now I'm with a girl named Jessica and she just gave birth to our son 11 months ago."
"I'm glad things are working for you. I wish you both the best." I say
"Thanks. Also engaged to be married in the fall."
"That's fantastic. Congratulations." I say half smiling
He furrows his brows "Cassie? Why are you being so nice? I was horrible to you"
"That's just how I am and no matter how bad things went I never wanna see anyone suffer." I say
"Wow. You really are a great woman the next guy you find will be a lucky man."
Axel wraps his arms around my waist from behind "Oh I know. Good morning beautiful."
I jump then smile "Good morning handsome."
"Who's this princess?" Axel asks
"This is Kyle my ex boyfriend, Kyle this is Axel my boyfriend." I say smiling
"Nice to meet you." Kyle says smiling and extending his hand
Axel growls "yeah. You too. *mumbles* prick"
Kyle chuckles nervously "Well, umm see ya around Cassie."
"Wait Kyle how did you know where I live?" I ask
"I didn't. Actually didn't think you'd be here I thought this was my brother's place remember he used to live here?"
"Yeah he lived here 2 years ago and moved out when we were dating." I say crossing my arms
"Yeah. You know I wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed." Kyle says laughing nervously
"No lie there." Axel mumbles
I laugh and whisper "Behave yourself."
Axel growls and wraps his arms around me tighter "no promises."
"Anyways see ya around cassie!" Kyle says then runs
I laugh shutting the door "Protective. Sweet. Funny. Charming. I love it"
"I don't like him he treated you badly." Axel says
"I know baby but you've got me now so his loss is your gain." I say smiling
Axel smiles back "So true princess so true."
