"It's been great to see you all have fun and make new friends, but unfortunately it'll have to come to an end, I hope to see you all next year!" David sobbed as the parents waited outside the mess hall for their children. Max, Nikki and Neil decided to escape from the crying children to get some much needed peace.

"I don't wanna go home, I'll miss you guys too much!" Nikki whined, max and Neil agreed. "I'm surprised my parents are actually here to pick me up, I expected a phone call saying they've left the country" max leaned against the wall outside of the mess hall and sighed. He truly never wanted to leave, he was hoping his parents were in a good mood. "You both have phones, right?" Said Neil, pulling out a device with a light blue case on it. They both nodded and took out their phones as well. "Give me your numbers so we can talk out of camp." He said. After they exchanged numbers they went back to the camp where Nerris and Harrison said their goodbyes and left.

Neil and Nikki pulled max in for a group hug, this time he didn't refuse, this could've been the last time he hugged either of them so he didn't take any chances. They said their goodbyes, got in their cars and drove off.

"There was something wrong with Max's parents, they seemed..weird." David said, putting his hands on his hips. "They were obviously drunk, it's 9:30, they probably went to a bar before they came."

"But max seemed scared to go with them."
