Okay so I know that I haven't updated in a while but I have a lot of things to memorize for school. I'll be trying to update more often but maybe it would boost my confidence to get a couple votes?
Anyways, here you go. J
Tyler and I didn't even have to argue about what we were watching it was already a mutual agreement. Mean Girls. It was one of our favorite movies and who wouldn't love it. Drama, romance, comedy, and all mixed into the high school scene. Plus, Ty always made great snacks. Cheesy tortilla chips, dip, buttery popcorn, and a couple sweets I threw in.
"OH! Shhhhh!!! This is my favorite line!" "She doesn't even go here!" the TV blared as me and Tyler laughed until we were crying. This had been what we said to each other for almost two years after watching this movie. It stuck and I'm glad it did, this was our favorite and it was nice we could still laugh about it.
When it was getting close to the end I yawned, "I'll be right back. Bathroom." Tyler didn't even turn around. His eyes were glued to any screen you put in front of him so I didn't even bother. I was walking down the hall when I heard a huge crash from next door. I jumped over so far I almost knocked into the lamp. The windows were open so I could see across but all I could see was movement through the dark house.
"Ty! I'm going to check on the neighbors! Okay?!" He responded with either a mumble or a weird "Kay." I walked down the back porch steps and started towards the front door. I made a faint knock and I heard nothing. The door was unlocked so I pushed it open slightly. The house was big and no lights were on. I stepped into the house "Is anyone home?" I still heard nothing until I heard a shaking sound and a light that came from what looked like the kitchen. I couldn't see very well but I put my hand along the wall to feel around for balance.
I heard some shuffling and immediately jumped to get my phone out. I turned the flashlight on to see a figure hunched over. I did what any normal person would do. I screamed. The figure turned around screaming, hitting its head and falling to the floor. I stepped back realizing it wasn't some creepy ghost trying to kill me, it was some guy. "What the hell?!" he screamed at me. I stuttered out, "I-I-I'm sorry. I didn't think anyone was here. I heard a crash." "Well next time ring the doorbell maybe?" he said rubbing the back of his head. "I did knock" I said crossing my arms finally looking at him. "I had my headphones on so sorry I could hear your "knocking"."
He was standing against the fridge and then moved over to me sticking out his hand. "Well thanks for the welcome to the neighborhood surprise, I'm Ansel." "I'm Rhia." I shook his hand glaring at him then cautiously asked, "So why are all the lights out here?" He paused and simply said, "I just moved in and the power doesn't work yet so I'm stuck in the dark." "Oh...well um I know we don't know each other but you could come stay over at our house for the night..?" He looked at me then a smirk appeared on his face. "Sure but I don't know if you noticed but I have to change first." As a matter a fact I didn't even look over him yet. He was very tall with brown curly hair and very muscular body. Oh and small detail, he was wearing ninja turtle boxers...that's it. "Gosh women stop eye raping me! We've only just met and you've already seen the boxers!" I immediately tore my gaze on him and looked down.
I was surprised when he started laughing. His laugh was deep and I found myself blushing. "I'm joking, but seriously let me change and I'll meet you over at yours yeah?" I nodded and started out, I turned around to take one more look to see him staring. "Gosh stop eye raping me Ansel!" His eyes snapped up with a smirk, I ran down the steps to walk back to the house. Well...this will be fun to explain to Tyler.

I know this was short but there will be more soon. By soon, I mean hopefully tomorrow.
