Chapter 2.

As I'm siting at my desk doing homework I get a call from an unknown number. I debate wether or not to answer it, but my curiosity gets the better of me.
"Hello."
"Hi. Is this Troye?" At that moment I realized who it was. It's was Connor. My heart immediately beating rapidly. "Yes" I answer, my voice shaking. "This is Connor. We talked in the hall today and I thought we could talk more." I have a million trillion things racing through my mind as what he wanted to talk about. "Sure we can talk.
"Not really just felt like we didn't finish talking earlier." The 30 seconds of silence felt like 100 years. As I was about to speak he butted in. "This is going to sound weird, but do you think we can get coffee sometime, and just catch up. Not like a date tho."
"Sure. How about Thursday after school."
"Sounds good. See you tomorrow I guess. Bye Troye."
"Bye"
Oh my god. Did that just happen?

At dinner that night I couldn't stop smiling. My parents must have thought I was on drugs or something because I haven't been this happy in a very long time. As I sit there smiling like a idiot my dad ask "Troye what's with the big smile?"
"Oh...nothing just had a good day at school." Then my annoying little brother shouts out "He was talking to someone on the phone earlier!" I instantly looked at him with pure hate visible in my eyes.
"Who were you talking too" my mom asks. I know I couldn't tell her the truth but I couldn't lie either. "Umm...just a friend I'm doing a project with."
"Oh sounds fun." After that the rest of dinner was an uncomfortable silence. After dinner I walk up the stairs and my brother stops my. "Why did you lie to mom?"
"I didn't lie to mom." He rolls his ignorant little eyes and walks away.
