Chapter 13

"Is everyone here?" The teacher asked writing things down on his clipboard as he looked around for his homeroom.

Everyone was buzzing with excitement, the sun was shining and it had a nice cool breeze. Everything about the day was good so far.

The teacher started taking attendance and making sure the permission slip was signed for everyone. Taehyun stood next to Huening Kai with a big smile on his face.

"Junnie hyung! I'm so excited I can barely stay in place" Huening kai smiled widely as Yeonjun approached the guys with his suitcase in hand. Jennie was walking by behind him with a weird smile as she texted someone on her phone.

"I can tell. Save that energy for later Kai" Yeonjun laughed before yelling "here" when the teacher called his name. Jennie gave Yeonjun a kiss on the forehead and ruffled his hair before running along to her homeroom class.

"Why do you look like you're going to the beach?" Yeonjun asked with a disgusted look on his face when Soobin walked by. The boy stopped in his tracks before crossing his arms over his chest.

"Are you judging my fashion sense baby?" He raised his eyebrows, frowning a bit.

"Yes. Yes I very much am" Yeonjun said, the look of disgust still present. Beomgyu catched up to them only a second later.

"Yeah you both could use some fashion tips" Yeonjun said, his eyebrows creasing as he looked at the boys who happened to be matching. They were wearing some weird beach pants, a white t-shirt, and a neck pillow. Who the hell does that?

"Wow Beomgyu hyung I thought you knew how to dress up" Taehyun commented with a laugh as he took in Beomgyu. He still somehow looked breathtakingly beautiful.

"What do you mean? I personally think I look amazing" he joked, twirling around to show off his horrible outfit. Yeonjun was very much disgusted.

"Alright everyone get in the bus" the teacher said standing in front of the bus as he took note of everyone getting inside.

Taehyun and the other boys sat at the back of the bus. Yeonjun sat on his right and Beomgyu sat on his left while Soobin sat next to Yeonjun and Huening Kai sat next to Beomgyu.

"I heard we're staying in a hotel," Huening kai said, taking out his phone. Soobin snickered at that statement.

"You think this school could afford that?" He said scrolling through his phone with a visible smile.

"I mean they could afford to bring us all on a field trip for a week" Yeonjun responded, causing Soobin to roll his eyes.

"Whatever you say baby"

"Can you seriously stop calling me that?!" Yeonjun protested crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned in closer to Taehyun who was looking at his phone.

"Stop pushing me," the younger male complained, pushing Yeonjun away from him. Beomgyu laughed as he continued fumbling with his headphones.

The bus had started to move and everyone was talking loudly. Laughs and shouts could be heard followed by the teacher trying to shut everyone up.

Huening kai was taking a bunch of pictures while throwing random comments to Wooyoung who sat a row in front of them. Soobin was playing games on his phone while Yeonjun tried to sleep. Beomgyu was listening to music while Taehyun sat there quietly with a visible frown.

"Are you okay?" Beomgyu's soft voice asked, causing the blonde to turn his head back in his direction. The first thing he saw was the older's soft brown eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine" he said, giving Beomgyu a smile but the older one only raised his eyebrows giving Taehyun a suspicious glance.

"You sure?" He asked just to make sure. Taehyun couldn't speak for a moment as he sat there just admiring Beomgyu. How did he look so beautiful dressed in stupid beach clothes? It was definitely unfair.

"I left my ear pods at home that's all, I promise I'm fine" Taehyun responded trying to make his voice sound stable but he wasn't all that successful with Beomgyu staring hard at him.

"Can we share mine? Though I'm not sure how similar our music preferences are" Beomgyu finally said giving Taehyun a smile that made his heart beat faster.

"That's fine! Y-you don't have to you know" Taehyun quickly replied shaking his head as a no but Beomgyu insisted.

"I'm fine with it. Besides it seems like we're going to be here a little while" Beomgyu said, holding out the other side of his earphones for Taehyun to take.

After a little resistance Taehyun finally took the earphones. He would be lying if he said he didn't feel like his heart would beat out of his chest at the gesture. He was sure that Beomgyu was the sweetest person in the world.

Taehyun didn't recognize the song that was playing but it was soft and calming and it did a good job at calming down his nerves. Beomgyu looked peaceful with his head against the window and his eyes closed.

He had long eyelashes and pretty pink lips. Beomgyu was the most beautiful guy he'd ever seen. His black hair looked fluffy and he really wanted to run his hands through it but he kept that urge to himself as he continued observing the beautiful male.

The next song started playing; it was just as soft and calming as the other one had been. It seemed like the older male liked slow songs. Taehyun smiled to himself looking down at his hands feeling like they had somehow gotten closer.

"You're so in love it's making me sick" wooyoung commented with a teasing smile as he looked at Taehyun. The blonde male rolled his eyes at him and pointed to his hands.

"Please say that when you're not holding San's hands because you sound like a hypocrite" Taehyun rolled his eyes and continued playing a game on his phone while Wooyoung finally turned back around.
