Emma's pov
I woke up the next morning with a clear mind. I went to get dressed. After that, I went to brush my hair and left it down. After that, I went downstairs to get something to eat. For breakfast, I think my dad was still asleep. After I heard footsteps it was my dad, so much for my cover being blown. "What are you doing home your suppose to be in college" I hear my dad say I said "yeah well something came up, and I had to come home" I say to my dad. "Like what he asks." "You and Jake got in a fight." "No I said." "I would never fight with him I say." "That still doesn't explain why you're home I hear my dad say." I just walked away. "Hey get back here I hear my dad say." But, I kept on walking.
Thomas Magnum's pov
That was weird, Emma just walked away from me, like she was annoyed or didn't seem interested. I hope she's alright, but it still doesn't explain why she's home from college. I mean she graduates in a few weeks and she needs too be there to get her credits so she can graduate. I hope everything is okay between her and Jake. But, whatever it is that's going on with Emma. The fact that she's not telling is making me worried; that's fine. If she won't tell me then I'll just find out myself. If she's not gonna tell me herself.
