Karan took one spoon rajma from the bowl and forwarded his hand towards Teja's mouth to taste it

"mmmmm so good last time se zyada accha bna hai" she said proudly
"haan haan pata hai.. Tune jo help ki hai" he said softly.

Teja took two bowls, plates , spoons and carried them to dining table, karan carried the hotcase and the bowl of rajma the both sat down teja served both of them

"how domestic it feels" karan said with a genuine smile

Teja just nodded

They started to eat . They were silently eating they don't know about what they should talk but honestly the silence was not at all awkward for them they enjoyed it they enjoyed each others company they enjoyed food obviously

But you know bole bina dono se he nhi raha jata hai

"so tell me about your friend...what's his name shiv..um.. shivang" he said confused but he wanted to ask obviously he was curious about it

"it's shivin" she said chuckling

"yeah shivin so tell me.. I saw your story with him..i must say you both looked close friends and he was also very excited meeting you" he said with eating and taking breaks in between

"such a curious head you are I must say" she said as a matter of fact.

"just like you" he said with a wink

"aryyy it is nothing he was asking for new phone because when I was in Florida a year back we had some fight in which he was forcing me to do something that was for my good only but I was not ready to do it and he was continuously poking me to do so in anger I took his phone and threw it from my balcony.. My brother gave him the phone but he still cribs about it...he says he don't want phone from pra he want it from me as a joke only he also knows I'm not going to give him any phone" she said this taking breaks as she completed and looked at him he was already looking at her.

"but what did he asked you to do" he asked hesitantly.

"umm.. Will tell you baad me waise bhi it's kinda sad story and I don't want to ruin our mood" she said chuckling but her tapping her feet and encircling on dining table with her fingers didn't go unnoticed by karan. He knew it must be something big that's why looking like anxiety is kicking her.

He held her hand while was encircling on dining and gave a little squeeze to it she looked at him with a soft smile on her face.

And then they didn't talked further they both just ate their dinner silently until Teja's phone rang. She got up and walked where her hand bag was took out her phone it was her driver

"haan bhaiya"

"madam wo meri wife ki tabyat kharab hogyi hai mujhe jana padega sorry mai apko lene nhi aaskta"

"koi nhi bhaiya mai khud aajaugi ap apni wife ka dhyan rkho aur agr paise chahiye toh bata dena mai paytm krdugi apno"

"okay tejasswi madam"

"haanji bhaiya"

She cut the call and came back to the table and sat karan was listening to her while she was talking

"kya hua everything okay?"

"haan everything is okay just my preetam bhaiya's wife's is not well so he was just informing that he can't pick me up"

"ohh"

They finished and he took their plates and she took helped him in cleaning the dining of course he didn't let her clean he argued with her but she is stubborn and he knows that so he let her do what she wanted to.
