Her Last Love

Jordan's POV

"I've lost enough today. YOU WILL NOT TAKE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE TOO!" She said as she ripped Brad's throat out. Did she just say that? It has to be because of grief. Why did I come back and not him? I tried to save him for her. I didn't even know I could do that, but that scream, her begging. She told him that she loved him. I just wanted to take her pain away.

'Jordan, I don't know what's going on. She doesn't have a wolf but she shifted. And you felt it, just like I did. Her smell was stronger too. I'm telling you, she's our mate.'

'We'll figure it out' When she let go of his head, she started swaying, but I caught her. I felt electricity shoot up my arm when I touched her. It's probably from her powers, or maybe I'm just hallucinating everything.

"I'm sorry they took him from you. Please, don't hate me, any of you." Her eyes were starting to close. "I'm sorry it took me so long to realize..." Her eyes shut, and she went limp in my arms.

"She just passed out." Amara said after she checked her pulse. "Why doesn't she understand that none of this is her fault?"

"Because, Noah told her it was his gift to her and before she could move, he killed him."

"She doesn't know that dad was going after Noah on purpose, does she?" Willow asked. Dad was outraged. He blamed himself for not being in her life and protecting her. He wanted to be the one to kill Noah so that he could never hurt her again.

"I don't think so."

"WHERE IS SHE?!?!?" Vanessa screamed as all the royals came over. They saw her in my arms, covered in blood and not moving. They froze in their step.

"No, no. She's alive, just passed out." I got out before they started freaking out. I watched them all let out a breath in relief.

"We saw Kade. Does she know?" Silas asked sadly.

"He took the bullet that was meant for her, and then she had to watch Noah rip dad's heart out. Oh, and then Brad." I nodded to his body. "He had a gun to my head. After she did that to him, she fainted."

"I'm sorry for your loss. He was a good man. I talked to a bunch of people who said she stopped to help them on her way to you. She did a hell of a lot of damage. We heard her scream, every one, everywhere heard, and then the fighting just stopped. We knew it was either for you or Kade. We lost a bunch of people but not as many as we thought and I think that's because of her." Ayden said.

"Did she really full shift into a wolf?" Liam asked.

"Yeah. She was sitting and as she stood she shifted completely in a matter of one second. She was the brightest gold, not sandy blonde, but gold, and she was insanely fast. She destroyed the Rogue King, it was pretty gruesome. My wolf said that he doesn't sense a wolf in her." The wolves all reached out and got nothing.

"Missy and her friend set up portals so that we can get back to your place quicker. I know her mom is beside herself by now." Kade's dad said when he got to us, he was carrying Kade's body. Lucy went to Willow and they hugged, sharing each other's grief. When Dev actually saw Kade's body, he fell to the ground, crying. I imagine that's how I would feel if I lost Levi. Wait, Levi.

'Levi, man, tell me you and your dad are alive.'

'Yeah man, I'm sorry about your dad. Lilah, did you find her? Is she okay?'

'Alive yes, but okay? No, I don't think she will be for a while. Kade's dead and Noah killed dad in front of her then got away.'

'Fuck man, we are at the portal making sure everyone gets through. All of our dead have been taken back. Do you want us to wait for you?'
