Y/n's PoV:
It was the 7th of May and Jobe was playing a home game so I decided to surprise him and go there but Jobe still thinks i'm in the bahamas with my family but I flew back last night with the help of Jude so Jobe better be thankful because I could be in the sun for another week but I decided to come back to shitty england to watch him play. Jude sent me a photo of Jobe this morning for me to put on my insta as a little apology for not being there.

"Do you think that's alright?" I asked jude over the phone as I walked into the stadium. "That's perfect and he believes it so the plan should work...so you know where you're sat?" I looked down at my ticket that Jude got for me. "Yes west end between the goal and corner flag, front row." Jude nodded at my answer. "I'm going to check on Jobe before his training so text if there's any problems." "Okay Jude thanks, Love you bye." "Love you too." I ended the call and went over to security and got my bag searched before the let me in. I decided to get a bottle of coke and a pack of crisps because they game didn't start for another 45 minutes. I was wearing one of jobe's match shirts which he gave to me after the game when they won 7-0 with some black ripped jeans and my Jordan 4's in university blue and a black hoodie to wear over so I could cover my face and Jobe wouldn't notice me. I got my seat and sat down with my hood up just scrolling through insta waiting for the match to kick off.
After 45 minutes the lads where walking out the tunnel and everyone was cheering especially when Jobe walked out which melted my heart because it just shows how many people love him and appreciate his effort in and out of the game.
Birmingham city were drawing with the other team and they had to win to get into second league and it all came down to a penalty after Nico Gordon was fouled inside the box. The team got in a huddle to choose who would be taking the penalty and after 30 seconds they split off and Jobe breathed heavily as he walked to the ball putting it on the penalty spot, then it hit me, it was down to him and if he missed he'd be in a pissy mood for the rest of the day. "Cmon Jobe...you've got this." I whispered to myself. Jobe looked around at the fans and we made eye contact and instantly a smile grew on both of our faces. "Go on Jobe you've got this!" I shouted which made him gain confidence and you could see it in his posture. Ref blew his whistle and the stadium was dead silent. Jobe took a deep breathe before doing a fake run to the ball then took two strides forward and pelted the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal. The crowd went wild and all of Jobes team came and celebrated right infront of me and I carried on cheering and clapping. Jobe made a heart with his hands then pointed at me and winked making my face go bright red. After the game I went to the tunnel and saw Jude and Jobe talking but Jobe's back was towards me so I ran up to him and jumped onto his back. "You done amazing!" I exclaimed getting off of his back and pecking his lips. Jobe smiled at me then kissed me again which made the both of us smile. "Let's get you two home." Jude said patting our backs. Jobe and I connected our hands and walked side by side just enjoying eachothers presence.
