The Hidden Signs

Chapter 2

The three of them took off after the vehicles on tree top so they wouldn't get spotted, the vehicles they were following suddenly slowed down, at the end of the forest a long and large black and gray building sat mysteriously as if it was warning off trespassers just by it's mysterious look and feeling it gave off. The black vehicles entered the building through the three extremely large garage doors that seemed to be very old or broken because of the loud creaking noises they made when they opened, Aquarius saw a quick glimpse of the inside, there were multiple other black trucks, some had large turrets on them some were hooked up to trailers with large cages on them, holding their miserable and worried looking friends.

There were also guards everywhere on the inside and out. It made Aquarius even more uneasy, "It makes me feel sick..." Libra whispered, "I am sure we will find a way to save them..." Aquarius said, she had been trying to calm the two down in anyway possible even though Aquarius herself felt sick, Virgo could see the uneasiness in Aquarius's silver eyes, "I feel like we should prepare more before entering a building with such high security, It would be a bad idea, we need a good understanding of where they are being held, how many cameras and guards are in each section of the building and what time of day we should do it at..." Virgo said quietly, "Well we can't wait too long!" Libra whispered loudly, "We have to hope they can handle being in there, Who knows what Ollie will do with them...Plus, We can't just go in blindly with no plan in mind, we would get killed or captured and we would have no way of escape..." Aquarius Added, Libra sighed in frustration. She then felt her foot slip on the branch they were standing on, it was too late to rebalance her footing, she slipped off the branch and fell below, Thankfully Aquarius and Virgo both grabbed her on time, "You have to be more careful!" Virgo whispered, "Sorry, I guess I lost my balance" Libra said still shocked, Multiple small leaves and branches fell with Libra when she feel making a lot of noise, "Uhm, We may or may not have just lost our element of 'Surprise'" Aquarius budded in, "Look at the guards, they are higher on guard now..." Virgo pointed out, "Shit, sorry..." Libra quickly apologized "Don't worry about it, we just have to get away from them, we know where this place is, it is close to the town on the eastern part of it. It's 3055 and they are still using those old military trucks..." Libra whispered when she noticed the black trucks sitting outside of the building, "Yeah, But the ones nowadays are too small making them more vulnerable to big things..." Aquarius added.

Scorpio jerked awake; The room she was trapped in was dark and large, Although there was so much space, and Scorpio could feel the cold metal cuffs around her wrist, There was a Small lightbulb with a table, the lightbulb was small and had a red light, Scorpio could see that she was chained everywhere so that she couldn't escape no matter how hard she tried, Her eyes quickly adapted to the light and saw in the shadows of the room sitting in a chair across from the table was Ollie's assistant, They were pretty short and had short black hair, they were in a strange outfit that reminded Scorpio of a musician, "Hello there, Scorpio" The Assistant said, "My name is Ink, and I am here to inform you about things, like why you are here and why we need you" Ink said calmly, "You are simply here because for 18 years! We at Cosmic Labs, have been searching for YOU!"  Ink said excitedly, Scorpio glared, "We have wanted the people that have Zodiac Zips and now, we finally have all 12!" Ink added, "Pfft, All 12, yeah right..." Scorpio mumbled quietly, "What was that?" Ink asked, "Nothing..." Scorpio whispered, "Well, Ollie will be coming in to ask you some questions. If you refuse to answer the questions you will be shocked, Got it?" Ink explained, eyeing Scorpio sterling before turning around and leaving the room, Ollie walked into the room slowly and sat down in the chair across from Scorpio, He smiled, Scorpio glared, Ollie then pulled out a file with a Scorpio Symbol on it, "You know, My father before he died had always wanted me to finally fulfill his dream..." Ollie said, "Now it has finally come true!" Ollie said excitedly, He opened the file and pulled out a pen and one of the papers. He had a clipboard and quickly snapped the paper into the clipboard. Scorpio shifted uncomfortably in the chains, They were cold and tight. "Now first question!" Ollie said excitedly, "What is your first and last name?" Ollie asked, "I don't feel comfortable answering that question..." Scorpio said, "What is your first name and your last name?" Ollie repeated sternly, Scorpio sighed, "Shimada Zodshirou..." Scorpio Answered quietly but loud enough for Ollie to hear.

"Interesting..." Ollie mumbled writing something down on the clipboard, "Birthday?" Ollie asked, "October 31st, 3025..." Scorpio whispered, "That can't be true...Your only 18..." Ollie retorted, "You need to study about how somebody gains a Zodiac Zip for you to understand how and why that works..." Scorpio responded angrily. Ollie then walked away, he seemed disappointed but not at Scorpio, He seemed disappointed in himself. Ollie wrote something down on the clipboard whilst eyeing Scorpio like he knew something was off. Then he simply left the room as if nothing ever happened. Scorpio sat in that room in the dark for another 3 hours alone. It was cold,quiet, and the air was dusty, everytime Scorpio breathed in she could feel the dust scratching her throat and the blood trickling slowly down her throat, the metal chains wrapped around her wrists were cold and rubbing against her skin, causing her skin to slowly grow a bit reddish. She couldn't see a thing, besides the moonlight trickling out of the bars 10 feet above her like water leaking from a river bed. The room smelled like cold metal and stone, and sorrowness. Occasionally Ink,The Assistant, would enter the room and give Scorpio food. Occasionally Scorpio heard the screams of pain and terror of the other Zodiacs, Everytime it made Scorpio want to break free from the chains and bring terror down to Ollie so he knew what it felt like. A couple of days every week Ollie would take blood samples, and just for entertainment the other 3 assistants Ollie had, would activate the Electric system that would Electrocute Scorpio everytime she moved more than an Inch. It felt like months before Scorpio saw light but it was only 2 weeks until Ollie would 'Test' on Scorpio.
