Starting with a kazai attack opener before utilizing 4D chess to your advantage is a solid option for melee combat, as in melee combat similar fake outs are often more effective than in ranged warfare.

- First and foremost, your goal is to make your character seem overconfident, incompetent and weak. Enter the fight with a smirk on your face and begin making reckless moves at the beginning.

- The second your opponent moves to counter, perform a fake out - feint your attack and take one of two routes based on the server's rules.

- If the server has a loosely defined set of rules, especially in the realm of auto hits, follow up with an agile, well-executed strike, but don't let it instakill the opponent. Let it be a restraint or a glancing blow.

- If the server has a tighter set of rules, detail the feint and have the attack take one turn to reach the opponent, making parrying and dodging both distinct possibilities. If the attack connects, deal moderate damage.

- (To connect with 4D chess) Have your character fade from the opponent's line of sight after a successful kazai. From there, initiate 4D chess.
