Chapter 5 : LA Vacation

"How's the Broad?" Ali answered on the other line.

"Wouldn't enjoy it if not because of you." He answered as he is sitting down sa resting area ng tinutuluyan niya ngayon sa Cali.

"Di ko naman ibibigay yung recommendation na yun if you did not ask."

He can't help but to laugh. Nawawala na nga ang mata nito dahil sa pagka singkit.  "But I still have an option to take it and I am glad I did." Ganti nito.

"Naks Suho! I am impressed na with how you talk huh!" Ali complimented.

Kung nag tataka kayo gano sila naging close. This is not the first time they talked on the phone.

Suho always making time to call whenever he can and Ali do the same, besides siya ang tutor nitong si Suho so she can't run away from it.

"Oh tomorrow I will go to the beach. Will visit it around afternoon. Diba bukas dating mo? You want us to pick you up?"

"Oh no. It's okay. I will have a car as soon as I arrive."

"Oh you have any plans? Want to join us?"

"I can. I will bring my skateboard. Perfect weather dyan to use it."

"HUY!" Pambubulabog ni Peter kay Suho na ngayon ay di pa din mawala ang ngiti habang tinititigan nya yung picture ni Ali sa phone niya habang nakangiti at nag sskateboard.
Napatigil tuloy sya sa pag aalala ng time nila na magkasama.

"Galing talga ng kaibigan ko, akala ko sunset yung kinukunan, iba na pala."

Di siya pinansin ni Suho isang sincere na ngiti lang yung binigay nya as a response.

Una tuwing naaalala niya conversation nila napapangiti sya, ngayon naman with the pictures they taken, it made him smile even more.

Nandiyan yung mga picture ni Ali na nililipad yung buhok, nakikipag tawanan sa mga nag sskateboard din.

"She look so cool wearing this outfit." Di maiwasang maamaze ni Suho. Ali is just wearing a sando with straight cut jeans, vans at may nakatali din na plaid long sleeves sa bewang nito.

"I am glad you enjoyed yesterday. So saan ang date niyo ni Ali bukas?"

Suho stopped smiling and looked at Peter. "We are not dating." He clarified.

"Ah hindi pa ba dating yung lagay na yun?"

"We are just friends and she is just showing me around. She knows a lot of good places here that I like."

"Ganun na din yun!"

"Hindi ah!" Depensa nya.

"Pero seryoso san kayo bukas? May sched ka ba kasama si Mr. Lee?"

"Wala naman we are just going to the 6th street bukas. Then baka dun na kami mag kita ni Ali. Gusto sya makilala ni Sonsaengnim bukas e."

"Nako! Aapprovahan na ni Mr. Lee si Ali!" Pangaasar niyo.

"Dude siraulo!" Hampas dito ni Suho. "Walang ganun! Don't make things awkward for Ali tomorrow."

It's been an hour or 2 simula nag lakad lakad na sa St si Mr Lee and Suho, dun na din nila nameet si Ali.

"Hello sir, it's a pleasure!" Ali shook Mr. Lee's hand "My name is Ali. Nice to meet you Mr. Lee!" She beamed at agad naman iyon kinuha ni Mr. Lee

"So you are Junmyeon's english tutor." He concluded while still smiling at Ali.

Natawa naman si Ali lalo. "Yes sir. It is me."

"I heard so much about you from my kid. I heard you guys are going somewhere today?"

Naglalakad na silang 3 papasok ng building. It is Mr. Lee and Ali walking samantalang si Suho nasa gilid lng ni Mr Lee nakikinig.

"Yes sir, I want him to meet one of my friend." She politely responded.

"Who is this friend?"

"It is a surprise sir, but I can tell you who."
Mr Lee got it and leaned in at bumulong naman ito agad.

"He is your friend?" Amused na sabi nito.

Ali nodded "I used to paint with him before. I mean when I was still here in Cali. I always visit him and he will teach me how to paint."

"We are actually going to see him because he told us he painted a portrait of me!" Hala naman pagiging excited ni Mr Lee.

"You will take me to Daniel?" Suho butt in ng mapag tugma niya ang puzzle sa utak niya.

"You said you enjoyed Broad so I was thinking on visiting him since you like arts and paintings." 2 na silang nag uusap habang nakapagitna kay Mr Lee at nakikinig lang naman ito sa dalawa. Natutuwa dahil sa pagiging magkasundo nito.

"I did enjoy and wow! I am excited!" He exclaimed.

"Also Mr. Lee would you like to join me tomorrow? I will be visiting napa valley for wine tasting. I think you will like it."

"How about me? Di na ako invited?" Singit ni Suho na ikinatawa naman ni Mr Lee at inakbayan ito.

"Sure! I can go with you guys! Pero Suho kay Ali ka na sumama I will be in a call meeting today and tomorrow. I will just see you guys there okay?" Paalam nito ng makatating sila sa lobby.

"Bakit pakiramdam ko pinapamigay ako ni Sonsaengnim?" Bulong ni Suho habang nag kakamot ng batok.

"Di yan, ako lang daw talaga available." Tawa ni Ali kay Suho. Pano salubong ang kilay at hawak ang baba nito nag iisip.

"I cannot believe you know Daniel."

"Daniel Maltzman... one of the talented painter I've ever met." Ali smiled while heading to the driver's door ng pag magulat ito ng buksan iyon ni Suho.

Ali caught off guard at sumakay din naman ng imotion ito ni Suho.

"Mag offer ako mag drive kaso I don't think it's a good idea." Tawa nito as soon as makapasok sa passenger seat while putting seatbelt.

Samantalang si Ali tulala pa din sa kanya. Suho leaned in, Ali held her breath, never she imagine having Suho in this close proximity to the point na naaamoy na nito ang pabango ni Suho, like it's not that she cannot smell it before, pero mas malapit lang ngayon.

"The driver always need to wear seatbelt." Suho commented as he clicked Ali's seatbelt.

Di na maisip ni Ali how long is she staring at Suho pero natauhan din sya ng magsalita ito.

"Kaja?" (Let's go?")

Ali blinked and tapped the card for the car to start "Yeah...uhm... let's go!" Aligagang sagot nito.

"What was that?" Ali thought as she is doing her best not to hold her chest to calm her heart beating faster and faster everytime she thinks of it. Ali shook his head. She cannot think anything aside of being a friend, nature ni Suho ang pagiging gentleman and she should be used to it by now.
She took a glimpse at Suho at tahimik lang itong nag pipicture ng nadadaanan nila.

If it doesn't bother Suho, why would she?
