CHAPTER 16 [OBTAINING VITALITY]

"The next destination of the group will be the Puzzle City. This is where Young Master Cale obtained the Vitality of the Heart," Leoneir explained

"The Vitality of the Heart was acquired by Young Master Taylor Stan in the past, but sadly, it did not help him and was killed a month after obtaining the ancient power" She added

"wait, what kind of ancient power is the vitality of the heart?" Witira questioned. It was kind of obvious but she just wanted to be sure if whatever she was thinking was right. Ancient Powers can be abstract sometimes

"The Vitality of the Heart can heal any injury that occurs after obtaining it, it gives the power of restoration and slowly heals the injury that the owner recieves" Cage felt suffocated, they did not know this. All they knew before taking the ancient power was that it would heal the injury the person have. They just realized what kind of power it had after taking the ancient power.

"Then, if Human have this power, why does he keeps puking out blood like a waterfall?" The young Dragon asked and pointed at his human, everyone from their side nodded as well, they had the same question

'Puking out blood like a waterfall?!'

"Before I answer that question, I just want to point out that taking the vitality of the heart after the first ancient power is very important. Because it was the power that kept his unbalanced powers from killing him" Leonier explained

"I see, it's basic knowledge that people who obtain  2 or more ancient powers usually explode" Eruhaben stated which the other him from the back nodded at

"yes that is correct, and since Cale Henituse doesn't have a strong plate, the ancient powers take a toll on his body. Cale puking out blood was the indication that the Vitality of the Heart is doing its job to maintain Cale's body in a healthy state" 

"oh my... poor ancient power, he's being overused" Alberu teased. Seriously, poor him, he must've been working really hard just to protect his owner

The TCF people remember how Cale pukes out blood every time he overuses his ancient powers, they then understood what Alberu said. I feel bad for the ancient power at some point...

"but, is that also the reason why you don't sleep at all?" Eruhaben gazed at Cale, it was a calm but interrogating gaze, but it looked really vicious to Cale. 

"I sleep a lot when I have nothing to do" Cale stoically said

'but he goes to battle almost every day...' the kids thought to their selves and wants to at least smack some senses in their humans' head

".. hm sure..." Eruhaben hummed in a sarcastic tone

"clap! clap! now then, let's watch"

[At a bit of a distance was a casually dressed man and woman. The man was in a wheelchair, with the woman pushing the wheelchair and heading out of the entrance of the Ruins, which was also the exit.

They didn't notice Cale's stealthy gaze and casually left the ruins. The man turned his head slightly toward the woman and asked.

"Why did you want to come here today?"
