3. the party

PoV Dipper
The party was going great. Suddenly someone grabbed my hand.

"Hey Dipper, let's dance!", Pacifica said happily.

I went to the dance floor with her. She looked really beautiful, but my thoughts wandered off to Mirja, who was with Mabel.

"Eyes on me, boy.", Pacifica suddenly said.

I looked at her and she was closer than I expected. Her hands suddenly found my shoulders.

"What are you-", I tried, but she put a finger on my lips.

I struggled and finally broke free, then turned around and walked into safety, I guess. I walked up to Mabel, leaving Pacifica dumbfounded.

"You want a drink?", Mirja asked happily.

"Heck yes.", I replied.

"You.", Pacifica suddenly growled at Mirja.

"Oh, hey! Pacifica, right? You look stunning.", Mirja said nicely.

"Oh stop it. You're so fake!" , Pacifica said coldly.

I saw Mirjas hand twitching. She must be scared, she's so sensitive.

"I'm sorry?", she said.

"Hey, whoa, girls. If you wanna fight do it in a karaoke battle. You love karaoke, Pacifica!", Mabel offered.

Pacifica took a deep breath and nodded.

Then she went up and chose a song.

She was a great singer.

Then Mirja stepped on stage and chose a song.

I was stunned by her performance.

PoV Mirja
All eyes on me.

I knew how to use this human body to make masculines mad, my mother had taught me every step, every swing he used to even get my father to give him attention.

I had an excellent voice, probably because us demons are related to sirens. What? Did you not expect that?

I was annoyed though. I didn't have time to party, I had to destroy the weirdness barrier and free uncle Bill!

Still, I enjoyed Dipper's staring. He was so cute, so sweet. I blushed a little at the thought.

Pacifica won the battle, not in a fair way, but I couldn't care less. I pretended to need air and went outside.

I had spyed on the Pines family enough already. I should be able to destroy that magical cage.

"Hey, are you okay? I'm sorry about Pacifica, she's usually much nicer.", I suddenly heard Dipper say behind me.

"I think she's in love with you, you dork.", I smiled at him, turning around.

"You think? Man, I'm oblivious. Bad luck for her, my heart belongs to someone else.", Dipper explained dreamily.

Why does it hurt? What is this feeling?!

"Who might that be?", I asked carefully.

He was so close. Now he took a step towards me and closed the gap.

My face was only inches away from his chest and I could smell his perfume. I carefully placed my hands there to push him back, but I froze.

He had his mouth covered with his hand and he was blushing madly.

"Do you, by any chance, like...me?", I asked, suddenly more insecure than my mother and that is a lot.

Dipper nodded slowly.

"I'm sorry.", I said without thinking. The wind ruffled my dress and made me flinch.

Dipper removed his hand and put it to my cheek. He stroked my skin with his thumb.

"Do you, by any chance, like me too?", he asked quietly.

I ran my fingers over his chest and removed a bug carefully. I was supposed to use him to free my uncle. I wasn't supposed to feel this way towards him.

I felt his hand leave my cheek.

"I-", I brought out. Suddenly he moved away.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry! I, you, I, FUCK!", he blurted out.

Father would be so angry if he knew about my feelings. He send me to this dimension to complete a mission, not to fall for a human.

But that's what this feeling was called. Love.

Dipper suddenly started sobbing and then turned around and made a run for it. I stood there, freezing.

Then I ran into the forest. I only stopped when I reached my uncle.

I stared at him for a while, my eyes falling with water.

"I love him, Bill! I love Pinetree! What should I do, father's gonna kill both of us!", I cried out. Then I touched the stone and send myself into the pocket dimension Bill was trapped in.

When I opened my inner demon eye, uncle Bill was there.

"You're just like your mother, little one.", he said,"Falling for a human with the worst timing. I assume he likes you too?"

"I guess.", I replied. I had visited Bill a lot at night, when everyone was asleep.

"I don't know what to do!", I eventually brought out.

"Get your mission done and then go home, I'm sure Kill and Will are waiting for you.", Bill said. As he mentioned their names, I thought of my parents.

William and Kilian Cipher. Powerful demons, forced into marriage.

"If you haven't freed me in two days I will make sure Kill sends your little brother.", Bill said coldly.

"No! Not Taito, please! He's gonna kill them!", I begged.

"Who?"

"M-Mabel, Wendy, Candy, Grenda and Stan, even Ford. And Dipper.", I answered with tears in my eye.

"Why do you care?", my uncle wanted to know.

"Their the first friends I ever had...", I admitted.

Bill turned slightly red and I flinched.

"Oh, they will die! Now get out. I'll call your father."
