50. Dried petal

Yoongi rushed inside when he saw the guards outside were laying, dead. He was worried, thinking about if anyone else were left behind.

He turned the corner and saw Hoseok who was facing their chamber of theirs. He walks toward Hoseok and saw he was lifeless by now, poison took over him. Then Yoongi turns back to the opened doors, his eyes wide when he saw the maid crying near the beautiful being, the love of his life.

Yoongi's heart ached and he walks inside, the floor cracked which made Mina look back and she started to cry more.

Yoongi was staring at the beautiful human in there and how amazing he was looking in white. He can not believe how a human is so beautiful and mesmerizing.

"M-My lord.." Mina calls out, Yoongi kneels and reaches to touch his love's face.

"Mina, the queen is sleeping now. Do not speak." Yoongi gently caresses the cheeks while his tears are flowing down.

"B-But my lord .." Yoongi scoots next to the beautiful queen and takes his hand in his. The beautiful small hands, covered in red.

"Mina, leave us."

Mina obeys and quickly walks out, she was feeling so sad and guilty for all of this.

"Jeongguk!" Taehyung calls and runs towards Jeongguk who was panting after finishing off the last deed.

"Hyung.." Taehyung engulfed him in a hug as he smiles. He was so glad that he can be with him and be safe as well.

"Are you hurt?" Taehyung cups Jeongguk's face and examines his face, being too close to Jeongguk's face.

"I am fine, are you okay?" Taehyung grins as he leans in, Jeongguk does not deny and lets the other one do as he wishes.

"I am glad to be with you." He kisses Jeongguk's cheeks and nuzzles his nose with Jeongguk's.

"Thank you for staying even though our lives are difficult." Taehyung nods and finally leans in for a kiss which Jeongguk allows anyway.

Their small session cuts off when a guard runs toward them. He looks terrified and surprised. Jeongguk noticed that something went wrong.

"What is wrong?" Jeongguk ask the guard and the guard started to sob.

"The ...the queen.." Jeongguk looks at Taehyung who turns to Jeongguk as well.

"We have to leave!"

Yoongi gently rubs his hands while placing small kisses on his head.

"I never thought you would go this far..." Yoongi's voice cracked but he kept talking to his beautiful queen.

"Why do you take everything so seriously.." Yoongi sighs as he looks down at his hands and saw the other pair of hands are darker in the shade of red.

There are loud footsteps until two figures appear and immediately they started to ask questions. Yoongi looks up at them and he felt bad.

"Hyung! What happened!" Taehyung asks out loud and he quickly ran to them.

"We are too late.." Jeongguk says while he drops down on his knees.

"We were on time but...I guess he was determined on this.." Yoongi finally speaks and Taehyung can not stop his tears.

Yoongi pulls out a letter from his sleeves and hands it to Taehyung. Taehyung sobs before taking the letter in his hands.
