36. Tough love

A few days later, Jimin was left alone again because Yoongi had some work again. He was companied by the village kids who were allowed to come to the palace anytime, Jimin loves to play with those kids.

"Okay, that's all for today! See you later." Jimin waves at the kids who happily walk away with their mothers. Jimin's heart filled its limit with that scene and he can sleep well at night today. When he was about to return to his chamber, he saw a familiar face, sneaking on someone.

"Why is he here?" Jimin walks ahead and stares at the person who was trying so hard to see something from a small hole.

"When did you come?" The person jumped and fell on his back, Jimin gasped but started to laugh the next second.

"What kind of queen laughs at an injured person...ah!" Jimin tries to stop but he can't control himself until he had a hard time to breath now.

"I'm ...I'm sorry...Taehyung.That was funny.." Taehyung glares at the laughing one until both of them heard footsteps coming toward them.

"Taehyung-hyung?"

Both of them turns their head to their left and Taehyung instantly turned red after witnessing such a sight.

Jeongguk was covered in sweat and his headband was absent because he was practicing. Sweat dripped from his already built body while his face showed a sign of worry.

"Were you practicing?" Jimin asked and Jeongguk broke his contact with Taehyung before immediately bowing to Jimin.

"My apologies, I did not see you." Jimin chuckles and shook his head.

"It is okay. Seems like we have a guest." Jimin glanced at Taehyung who puffed his cheeks while sitting on the ground.

"Taehyung-hyung, you have made your clothes dirty. Allow me to escort you to a chamber and-" Jeongguk was cut off when Taehyung showed him his hand.

"Jiminie, help me out." Jimin was surprised at first because Taehyung never asked for help. Jeongguk glanced at Jimin who gave a small nod.

"Sure. Come with me " Jeongguk offered his hand but Taehyung ignored him before accepting Jimin's hand.

Jimin knows that something going on with these two so he lets it be. He glanced at Jeongguk who looks worried still but he also lift his eyes to Jimin. Jimin assured him with a nod as he escort Taehyung to his chamber.

"There you go, a perfect fit," Jimin says after dressing Taehyung, Taehyung was pleased with the clothes as well.

"You have some good outfits here, I have to do some shopping before leaving." Jimin chuckles while tying the last ribbon on the outfit.

"How long have you planned to stay here?" Taehyung hums.

"I don't know. But I will leave soon, don't worry " Jimin playfully slapped Taehyung's arm.

"Hey! Stay as long as you want. No one told you to leave soon." Taehyung giggles.

"Do you want me to tie your hair?" Jimin offers when he saw Taehyung's knot was loose.

"Yes! You do your knot you good!" Jimin smiled at Taehyung before combing his hair.

"Say, Taehyung." Taehyung hums as Jimin gently comb his hair.

"Do you like Jeongguk?" Taehyung almost choked on air when he heard that question.

"Me! Liking him! What are you talking about! Have I gone insane-"

"Taehyung, I can understand everything, you know that." Taehyung turns red again and he lowers his head.
