-November 6th, 1983-
-Hawkins, Indiana-

"Something is coming, something hungry for blood. A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in darkness. It is almost here" whispered Mike.

"What is it?" asked my brother, Will.

"What if it's the Demogorgon?" questioned Dustin. "Oh, Jesus we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon" he continued to rant.

"It's not the Demogorgon" Lucas said trying to convince him.

"Yeah, probably not" I added.

"An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" Mike continued.

"Troglodytes?" asked Dustin.

"Told ya" Lucas and I said in sync. Everyone started to chuckle.

"Wait a minute" Mike said in a soft voice. "Did you hear that?" we all looked at him with curiosity. "That...that sound? Boom...boom..." he said slowly. "BOOM!" he yelled as he slammed the table. I jumped a little, I don't think anyone noticed though.

"That didn't come from the troglodytes. No... no that came from something else" Mike explained. We all looked at each other with worried faces.

"The Demogorgon!" Mike exclaimed. All of us groaned. We're screwed.

"We're in deep shit" Dustin said groaning.

"Yes, we really are" I agreed with him.

"Will, your action!" Mike shouted at him.

"I don't know!" Will said stressed.

"Fireball him!" Lucas suggested.

"I'd have to roll a 13 or higher!" Will argued.

"Too risky" I added.

"Cast a protection spell" Dustin suggested.

"Don't be a pussy. Fireball him!" Lucas said to convince Will.

"Cast protection" Dustin said sternly.

Will looked at me for help. I just shrugged, honestly I had no idea what to do. Will sighed.

"The Demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering! It stomps toward you" Mike cried. "Boom!" He screamed.

"Fireball him!

"Another stomp, boom!"

"Cast protection!"

"Do whatever you think Will"

"He roars in anger!"

"Fireball!" Will shouted and rolled the dice so hard it fell of the table. The boys shot up from their chairs. They all started searching while they were panicking. It was kind of funny to look at.

"Where did it go?"

"Where is it?"

"I don't know!" Will explained panicked.
