PART 4 [FINAL PART]

"Ruchi di..."

Everyone turned their attention towards the origin of the voice.
A victorious smile broke out on Ruchi's face while Virat felt that the ground below his feet slipt away seeing Sai on the stairs with her suitcase.

Sai walked towards Ruchi with her baggages followed by Usha Mausi.

" Let's go?" asked Ruchi to which Sai replied with a nod.

"I am taking her along," Ruchi informed the Chauhans.

"Why? Why are you taking this Jungli.. I mean her with you?" asked Bhavani.

"So that this "Jungli Mugli" will no longer be a nuisance for you," said Ruchi with a sarcastic smile, wrapping her arms around Sai's shoulder.

"Come Sai," Ruchi said, and walked towards the door followed by Sai and Usha Mausi.

"What is the need of this drama? Within less than a week, you will come back with some lame excuses," Pakhi commented making them stop their steps.

Ruchi's fingers formed a fist. She turned towards Pakhi asking,"And what makes you think so?"

"Because that was what has happened till now. From the time she came here, she had packed her bags and left the house a lot of times. Within two or three days, she will be back. This drama of hers is nothing new to us," replied Pathralekha rolling her eyes.

Ruchi was about to say something but Sai held her hands.

"Shut up Pathralekha. You are jealous of Sai," Devi Thai said making Pathralekha roll her eyes, again.

"You have been like this from the very beginning, you always taunt Sai" she continued. Moving towards Virat, she held his hand, "why are you remaining quiet? Why don't you stop Sai?"

Sai looked at Virat with hopeful eyes.

"I will not stop her," said Virat breaking Sai.

"Like Pakhi said, she will have to come back here as she has no one else," he continued looking at Sai.

"That is one big misunderstanding Mr. Chauhan," said Ruchi, "she has a sister, a father. We were away, not knowing what our dear was going through. Who would assume an IPS officer to be such.. But now that we came to know her situation, there is no question that she is going to suffer more."

"Please tell Sai not to leave," Devi pleaded to Ashwini.

"What should I say and why would I?" asked Ashwini turning her face away from Sai.

"Come Sai, let's go. These people don't deserve you," Ruchi said.

Sai took a deep breath.

"One minute di," she whispered.

"Like Pakhi didi said, within one and a half year of my stay in this house, I had decided to leave this house a lot of time... And i always came back, because there was a force, an emotion that kept me attached to this place- love. I have no memory of my mother, but i considered you as one. My Abba was my family who is not alive now. I considered you as one. You proved me wrong. You people proved that there is a lot of difference in considering and actually being one. And.. thank you for that lesson," Sai said, with tears filled in her eyes but a smile pasted on her lips.

Turning to Virat, she said," Mr. Chauhan, like you said, i may not have anyone who is related to me by blood. But I am never alone. I promise... Even if I am in the worst condition, i will not come here."

Taking a deep breath, she continued, "Like Ruchi di said, this is not me... This is not Kamal Joshi's daughter... I prefer to be Sai Joshi than somebody's wife. I prefer to be myself than to change for someone who don't deserve me. GOOD BYE,"

Taking her baggages, she turned to Ruchi.

"Let's go," she said to which Ruchi replied with a proud smile and clap.

Sai, Ruch and Usha Mausi entered the car and drove off, Sai not sparing the Chauhans a look.

As they crossed the compound of the Chauhan Nivas, Sai burst out crying, placing her head on Ruchi's shoulder. Ruchi kept patting Sai's back, to comfort her.

"It's okay Sai. Let go of all your pain.. let go of all the pressure you had been through. Let go of past memories. There is nothing wrong in being yourself."
