You were walking in the streets of your hometown looking around at what had changed and stayed the same. When you reached your destination you knocked on the door. An woman with blonde hair opened the door. "Hi what can I do for you?" She asked. "Hi! Is Nancy home?" You responded. "Yes she is. Once minute. Nancy!".
Your childhood friend came running down the stairs. "Yes mum?" She asked. "Someone is here for you." Her mother told her. Nancy stepped in the door frame and she looked up she was shocked. "Y/N is that actually you?" She asked still shocked. "Yes it is me." You told her. After you said that she threw herself at you. "I missed you so much Y/N.". "Me too."
Once you were her room she started asking questions. "When are you starting school?". She asked. "I'm starting tomorrow." You answered.
After a few hours you headed home and went to sleep. The next morning you woke up got ready and walked to school. You entered through the front office. You were handed your timetable and showed to your first class. The person showing you around knocked on the classroom door. A teacher opened the and let you in. Once the door was closed the teacher started to introduce you. "So everyone we have new students joining us today. What's your name?" "I'm Y/N." "Right Y/N why don't you sit next to Steve Harrington in the middle.".
You walked over to your seat and sat down. After a while you noticed Steve staring at you. When you noticed him staring he looked away in embarrassment. The bell finally rang. You got up and went to find Nancy. After a minute you found her at her locker. "Hey Nancy." You said. When you said that she jumped a little causing you to laugh a bit. "Oh hey Y/N." She responded. After a few minutes someone else approached yous. "Hey Nancy." The person said. You turned around to see what it was. It was Steve. You noticed something around his neck. "Hey Steve what's that's around your neck?" You asked him. "Oh this? It's just a necklace my childhood friend gave me." He responded.
"He's still sad she left him. Mainly because he still has crush on her." Nancy said. Steve went red at Nancy's comment. You only asked Steve that question because you had the same necklace. "Hey Nancy can we talk in private?" You asked. "Sure." She responded. "Nancy I know this might sound crazy but... I think I'm Steve's childhood friend.". "Why do think that?". You sighed pulling out the necklace to show her. "Wow so your the one he loves and talks nonstop about then?" "I think so but I just don't know when to tell him." "Well how about we go tell him now?" "Alright let's go."
You and Nancy headed back over to Steve. "Steve Y/N has something to tell you." Nancy said to. He was probably zoned out because he responded with "What?". You sighed and said "I think I'm your childhood friend.". "Do you have proof?" He asked suspicious. You showed him the necklace and froze for a moment before pulling you in and kissing you lips.
