Chapter 15

Jesse's POV:
The whole year went by so fast, the team was getting good. We had 2 loses, 1 tie, and 8 wins. My mother's belly got bigger, we still didn't know what the gender was. Kate and I got closer, and Mike and I got to know each other more better.
But when May came around, everything changed.
We had the week off, so my mother took that as an opportunity to take care of some stuff back in California.
I had chosen to stay in Tulsa with my old friends.
When I got there that afternoon, Dally, Ponyboy, Johnny, and I had decided to not stay home. We wanted to go to the drive-in, but it was too early so we just hung around town for a while.
First, we hung out with other greasers at a local restaurant. Until a fight broke, so we left before the cops showed.
Then, as we walked around some more we found a group of kids playing poker with actual money. So we scared them by taking there money and chasing them.
It was finally getting dark and went to the drive-in.

We snuck in through a fence, once we got in we looked for seats. It wasn't that hard finding them since it was a drive-in. Most people watched the movie in their cars.
We found 6 empty chairs, sat on them, and watched the movie.
That was until 2 teenaged girls showed up. They were fighting with their boyfriends about something. Then we realized they were socs girls
