The lights flickered out of commission, casting the metropolitan wonder of Japan into an unexpected blackout. Cars refused to move, cell phones became nothing more than paper weights, and electrical conveniences went dead. Workers shuffled out of the fire exits, and civilians trundles their way home on foot.
Fires were nurtured into existence to provide comfort to Japan.
Unnoticed by all, a shady group trudged into a ruin of a middle school, led by a purpled haired man sauntering with confidence.
Winding through the rubble, Shinso paused, tilting the knobs a few times on his complex metal muzzle as he cooly commanded. "Set it down, all of you."
Sacks and bags laden with a variety of metal objects were dropped to the ground with a chorus of clangs.
The panting carriers were all glassy-eyed making their irises appear cloudy white.
Shinso raised his voice. "You wanted metal and I delivered."
A woman's voice cooed softly from the shadows. "Mmm, good."
The man muttered as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Care to explain why you took the city's power?"
Clinging to a pipe branching off of the Hero Eraser like a sloth, Yowameru shifted her face into the moonlight. She furrowed her brow in a disgruntled manner. "I like the dark."
Shinso grunted, not impressed by her simple answer. "And the crevices of this forsaken place isn't enough for you?"
Her tone became softer as her eyes narrowed. "I'm still trying to control multiple quirks at once." With a sweep, she descended from her pipe and landed on the ground. Despite her size and the speed of her fall, she had created a noticeable dicot in the concrete floor. She advanced with strong strides, closing the distance between herself and her minion. "Until I learn how to control them at will, you'll just have to be patient with me."
Shinso lowered his mask, to reveal a sly debonaire smile. "As you wish My Lady."
The villainess pivoted away from him and quickly emptied the sacks. Metal things cascaded to the rubble, and she set to work.
For days upon nights she melded the metal, fused makeshift hoses to the giant spray nozzle, then installed triggers all over the area in inconspicuous locations.
All For One purred. "The bigger the spread of the elixir, the more worms you can crush underfoot My Magnum Opus."
Yowameru muttered under her breath. "Yes Master."
As her hand reached for another scrap of metal, a large, calloused hand rested atop hers. A throaty deep voice thrummed. "You are working too hard Dollface."
Yowameru trailed up the man's arm with her gaze til it rested upon his gnarled face. In moments she took in the towering ripped man with muscles bulging 5 times as large as a regular human. The woman drawled. "I'd advise you to keep off me."
Muscular blinked slowly, feeling the brainwashing effect from Shinso fade away. His grip tightened as a vile toothy grin spread. "You're cute. My kind of cute-"
She reflexed her free arm, and a hose with a cone on the end lanched out of hiding. Before Muscular could utter another word, Yowameru smashed a button. The cone sprayed right at Muscular's face causing him to black out soon after. The villainess stood and walked away from her victim without a second glance.
As she stormed away a casual loping stride caught up to her, snaping to her side, and keeping in time. The visitor laughed lightly before sighing. "Every time I try and figure you out, you suprise me again."
Yowameru flipped her hair over her shoulder in a bored fashion. "Is that so?"
Monama bobbed his blonde haired head with a egotistical smile. "You are difficult to read to begin with, but I have ways to guess. Observing you, following your decisions...I think it's enough in oder to actually copy your quirk then you play a wild card!"
Yowameru heard ringing in her ears as she faltered. Her hand came to her temple as she stumbled. Light bulbs sparked and flickered in rapid succession as the strain on Yowameru came to fruition. Her whole body started to shake as her feet became heavy-
That is when she fell into Monama's gloved hands.
He cried in a simpering tone. "Oh my goodness! Dearest, your body cannot keep up. You've got to pace yourself- Allow me." The man who used to go by Phantom Thief eased Yowameru into a seated position.
He felt her forehead in a doting fashion, which aroused the woman from almost fainting. She whined in a slur. "Aren't you supposed to be studying Mirio Togata? You vowed to copy One For All and bring it directly to me!"
Monama shushed her softly. "And I am still working on that. It will take time. I can't bring One For All to you until you are in good condition anyway."
Yowameru hissed in pain before gulping it down. Her gold eyes flashed their original ice blue for a moment. She leaned in close to whisper into Monama's ear. "Get back to work." As if he were a puppet on a string the man stood, and quickly left the way he had come.
