I decided to move seats because everyone was staring at me. I was just chatting with julia when we remembered the sweetheart king and king nominations were being announced today. We somehow got half the class to vote kole king and queen. The announcements ring over the speakers as usual. As we were sitting down from the pledge they announce the sweetheart queens. I cross my fingers " Anddd out sweetheart king nominations are, tyler, cameron, gavin, gaige, william, george, and last but noy least Kole _____." what. I wasn't expecting him to actually get up there. Me and Julia screamed congratulating kole until the bell rang.
Time skip sry
Kole invited me to his house. KOLE INVITED ME TO HIS HOUSE. It's probably not as big of a deal as I'm making it out to be but yk. I end up wearing ripped jeans with fishnets, and a baggy nirvana t-shirt with my converse. Casual but nice.
"Where are you going?" my brother asks great "out." I reply and he lets out a remark about seeing a boy. I grab my skateboard from my garage and put in my ear buds. The closer I get to his house the faster my heart beats. What if he doesn't like me? What if his parents don't like me. What are we even going to do? The music blasts in my ears as I see his house round the corner. After what feels to be the longest 5 minutes ever i kick my skateboard backup and catch it, slowly walking up koles driveway to his front door. God his house is huge. I ring the doorbell. Oh my god. I'm here. I'm doing it. I was greeted by an unfamiliar face. "Well hello you must be alayah." the tall man i'm assuming to be koles dad says and motions for me to come inside. " yeah that's me" I awkwardly said. "You know kole seems to really like you, he's told me alot about you" he says and i blush what. He doesnt think of me like that. Does h- Before i can finish my thought kole comes running down the stairs stopping at the bottom step. I follow him back up. "Uh my rooms this way" he tells me as he leads me through his huge house.
The first thing i noteced when i walked into his room was how plain it was. Plain blue walls with nothing on them. White bedsheets and a nightstand with a lamp on it. His room was kind of messy but in an expected way yk? Wow. now i feel like my room is to much. "You ever played vr?" he asks with that stupid smile on his face. I watch with a huge smile on my face as he digs through a drawer and pulls out two headsets.( ive never played it b4 so dont come ta me)
I slip the headset on while he connects the controllers. Holy shit. This is cool. Something touches my hand and i scream and hear kole laughing. He hands me two controllers and lets me pick a game. Minecraft of course. As soon as we load into the game i go to walk around and fall over. Embarrassing. Kole helps me up and i slowly figure out how to play. " alright ill get food you get stone" i say crafting him a pickax "alright then." he says and i go to gather more wood.
"I was gone for like two seconds how did you fall in that big ass hole" i say laughing my ass off and drop him some block "i dont even know dude" he says with a small laugh. After like a million years hes back on ground and we build a house. I finish up right as its beginning to become dark. I place two beds next to each other and we sleep until morning. As im decorating the house i hear a sizzling sound. I turn around just in time to see kole getting blown up by a creeper along with half of our house. He screams like agirl and suddenly i feel a warm body touching mine and i fall backwards.
I quickly slide my headset off and i see kole above me with his hands on either side of my head. Oh my god. I start to panic. He takes his headset off and his eyes fall straight to mine. We hold eye contact for a second. Processing what is happening. He looks away blushing and quickly gets off me apologizing. I get up from the floor and we both sit on his bed in silence. I hear koles dad call from downstairs. I cough breaking the silence, and start for the stairs grabbing my jacket ready to leave when his dad stops me. "Why dont you stay for dinner sweetheart?" he asks. "No you dont have to, thank you though" i tell him kinda awkwardly "no really, please stay id love to get to know you, i told Kristine to make extra just in case tonight" he says, insisting. Well, i guess this could be a good time to make a good impression "well if you insist" i say sarcastically while following kole t the dining room.
Time skip bcs its 4am and im lazy
Shortly after dinner is over i decide to go home, i mean i think i made a good impression. I grab my jacket and my skate board saying my goodbyes and am almost at the end of the driveway when i hear that familiar voice i love. "Hey alayah wait" kole yells running outside. "What" i ask kind of confused. He grabs my phone and puts his number in it "call me sometime" he yells running back inside. I turn towards the road with the biggest smile on my face. Looking back down at my phone to put on a song i see he put his name as 'crush<3' wow. What an ass
