Rain Showers

Chapter 2

Mist's Pov

A small squeak was the only noise that I made as I saw the tall man standing on my front step. I started up at him, my mind going blank as I tried to figure out what to say. 

"Can you please help me?"

"Huh?" I blinked before looking down and seeing an arrow of him. Ouch!

"Oh my stars, come in, come in!" I quickly threw the front door open and rushed up the stairs to get my first aid kit. How could I be so rude?! He was bleeding while I stared at him!

After I found the first aid kit I ran back down stairs, just to see him pulling out the arrow. Wowzers. Moving quickly before I started staring again, and gave it to him. I do think he wants the person who let him bleed touch him. 

He set the arrow down on the small tiny table next to the pillows on the floor. He picked up the bandages and handed them to me. 

"I'm going to need help" he stated before sitting down and holding his injury.

Hesitantly, I kneeled down next to him and started wrapping it up gently. Then he winced. 

Scared I had hurt him, I jumped back and threw my hands up. "Oh my stars! I am so so so so so sorry! I didn't mean to!" I continually apologized, hoping he'll forgive me. While i was rambling on, a heard a deep, quiet chuckle.

Heat slowly crept up my neck and to my face as I realized he was messing around with me. Why must I be so gullible? Is this a curse? Why me? I will question the universe later. Right now, I must finish helping this poor soul.

After I bandaged his wound, I let him sleep in my room to finish the healing process. Having another person, let alone a god, in my house  and bandaging their wound from an arrow hit was not on my to-do list today. Oh well, he needed help. But now he's sleeping in my bed... At least i get to sleep on my couch. The pillows are soft.

I grabbed spare blankets and laid onto the pillows, and drifted off to sleep, dreaming of frogs dressed in fairy tail outfits, acted out the parts they were for.
