"alright let's go" hyunjin turned off the engine right in front of the restaurant before unbuckling his seatbelt

"Oh no no, you stay here, wait for me." I replied and smiled

"Wha- but I wanna go too. I wanna meet her" he whined and pushed me

"You'll just distract me. I'll get you to meet her next time, just let me handle this for now." I ruffled his hair and got out of the car

"Just so you know, it is very hot in here and I might have a heat stroke if I wait too long!" He shouted out the window which made me giggle

"Don't be dramatic just turn on the ac!" I shouted back before entering inside.

I'm here again. I just hope that she's also here.

"Annyeonghaseyo, what can I help you with, Ms.?" The lady at the front desk asked

"Uhm, table for two please." I said politely and she led me to a table, immediately.

I sat there and ordered a drink and as my order arrived, I took the chance to ask the waiter.

"Hey, I have a question.."

"Yes, Ms.." he stopped what he was doing and paid attention

"Uh, do you have a staff named.." I didn't get to finish my question when someone caught my eye. Bingo..

"You know what, nevermind. Thank you." I smiled at the waiter and he nodded and left

I stood up and as I was approaching where she was, it seemed as if the whole restaurant went in slow motion. Everything around me seemed to blur out and it was just her that I was seeing. It was just me and her.

I cleared my throat while I stood in front of her. She was talking to one of the servers.

"Hi." I awkwardly greeted. She's still so beautiful.

"Hello. Can I help you with anything?" She asked as she faced me with a poker face. Quite intimidating, but still cute.

I'll just say it. "Can I maybe talk to you for a moment? Please?" I really hope she says yes.

Her eyebrows furrowed and looked behind her before responding

"I'm sorry but, do I know you?" That kinda hurt, honestly. Well, you used to.

"Uhm, I suppose not. But, I'll introduce myself if you let me have a word with you." I smiled and it took her a minute before nodding

We sat in front of each other back on the table. I didn't realize I was staring until she snapped me out of it by clearing her throat.

"Oh, yeah. I'm hwang yeji, nice to meet you." I extended my hand for her to shake. Oh how long I've waited to touch you again. Not in a dirty way, you pervert.

"Shin r- joanne. Shin joanne. Likewise." She shook my hand. Joanne? Is that her name now? Or is she just messing with me?

"Joanne?" I mumbled, but she heard it.

"Yes. Is there a problem?" She asked and let go of my hand

"No, no. It's just- no, nevermind. Nice to meet you, joanne." I smiled and she nodded

"So... Do you own the restaurant?" I asked again

"Is it obvious?" She answered with a question

"Uhm, kinda." I responded in which she chuckled. I miss your laugh..

"Look. If this is for business purposes, I'm sorry but I'm not accepting any partnerships at the moment." She stood up and was about to leave but I stopped her
