Chapter 3~ The Date

Right when I get home, I text Liam and say."I can't wait to see you!" He texts back with a smilie face.

I get ready and I had my mom do my hair. She curled my hair. It looked amazing! She told me that her mom (my grandmother) curled her hair for her first dinner date to. I thought that was so sweet. I will do this for my daughter to.

It was 5:00 now. My mom asked me what time he was picking me up. I said 6:00 she looked at her clock and said,"ok". Meaning we have enough time.

I am wearing a red dress with a black bow on it. It's really cute. My hair is curled. I have my makeup on. My high heels are in to. My purse has my phone, keys, wallet with money, tic-tacs, and a planner.

I look at the clock and it is now 5:45... I am really nervous. Tic toc tic toc. 5:50... I suddenly get a text from Liam.

To Lauren: Be ready! Love you!

I smile at the text and I drop my phone back into my purse. I give my mom a hug and thank her for everything! Not just for tonight. Since the day I was born. She looks at me and says," I love you very much Lauren." I tell her that I love her to.

I hear a knock on the door. I look shocked. Then I remember that I forgot something in my room. My mom tells me to get it and that she will take care of it. I run upstairs, shut my door, and get what I need.

My mom tells Liam to go upstairs and the second door to the right is mine. He walks into my room without a knock or anything. It scared me... But I smiled. He said that we should stay here for a few. So him and my mom could get to know each other. I didn't have a problem with it.

All of a sudden he takes me and cuddles me. He smelt amazing. I hugged him. I wasn't afraid to. We stayed up in my room for a while. I sit on my bed while Liam sat right next to me. We talked for a while. He told me about him. Then... H-he kissed me. I was stunned. I kissed back then pulled away. I told him that we should go and talk to my mother. He agreed.

We walked downstairs. We started to talk to my mom. He told her about his personal life and she really liked the fact that I was with him.

Whenever we were leaving he said thank you Mrs. Stacy. She just smiled and told him to call her Stacy. I laughed and grabbed his hand and we were off!

It was pretty silent on the way there... Really awkward. He broke the silence though. He asked me questions.... He was wandering where my dad was.

Me: Ummm... H-he was o-on a business trip. H-he got in a m-major car wreck. It destroyed his car and the other persons car. He was rushed to the hospital... But died right when he got there. They found out the other driver was drunk... He never died, although it was completely his fault. I felt so bad for my dad.

After that Liam had tears in his eyes. He apologized for asking. I didn't care though. After his wreck I learned that it was true. He was in a better place. So now that everybody asks I learn not to cry....

We pull up to the restaurant at 6:30. He gets out and opens my door. I thank him and grab his hand. He laughs.

He opens the door for me at the restaurant. It's a fancy restaurant with a food bar. Right when we sit down we go and get our food. It's really good food to!!

I look at him and he stares at me... We both know that a kiss is to come. We lean in and sparks fly. We pull away and eat again. We are both laughing and everything. How can this day get any better!?
