On the next day

I avoided all mirrors in the whole house to avoid encountering a ghost again.
When evening came I went to bed after brushing my teeth. To be on the safe side, I covered the mirror with a blanket and lit a candle because I can't sleep in the dark.
Then I tried to fall asleep, but when I finally succeeded, I heard heavy footsteps above me.
Luckily it was only my father who is in the attic. I was confused because in my old room I could never hear anyone else's footsteps, but the house is also very old. It crunches everywhere and especially in the attic.
I fell asleep because I was overthinking again.
Suddenly I cried out and all I could remember was that I had had a bad dream. What strange was, was that I suddenly only had the number seven in my head. I didn't know what that meant so I didn't think about it anymore.
In the next moment I heard a soft cry and I asked nervously:
"Hello? Who are you and where are you?"
The crying stopped and a girl's voice said:
"Well in my bed..."
Then I went to the mirror and uncovered the mirror.
Behind me in the mirror lay a little girl in my bed. She was holding a teddy and was staring at me.
She began to speak and said in an indignant voice:
"You are so mean! I can't fall asleep because of your yelling."
To which I replied apologetically:
"I'm so sorry! I had a bad dream and didn't even realize I was loud."
The little girl looked at me fondly. She sat up and said:
"I often have bad dreams too, you know?"
I replied surprised:
"Really, what are you dreaming of?"
She replied:
"From a creepy creature that has long hands and is after me to grab me."
I knew what creature she was talking about so I said:
"You mean the pursuer who takes naughty children?"
She answered in an anxious voice:
"Yes, I mean that one, it's very big, long and thin. As soon as it catches a child, it's dead!"
I tried to calm her down and said:
"It's just a fairy tale. This creature doesn't really exist!"
Then I thought, confused, that the little girl couldn't exist either.
After that the girl started talking again and said:
"Of course there is the pursuer! It lives in the attic. Sometimes it comes down and hides behind the doors."
I looked anxiously at the dark crack in the door.
Then the little girl said in a tired voice: "I'm going to sleep now. Good night!"
Before she just disappears again I asked her:
"What's your name?"
She replied excitedly:
"My name is Anna and I'm going to school next year!"
Then Anna fell asleep and I lay down on the other side of my bed.
The last thing I thought before I fell asleep is that anna actually didn't know that she herself was a ghost and lived in a mirror.

I guess that means she died sometime at her current age, doesn't it?
