Chapter Twenty Five

It took some time to write this chapter, trying to figure out how it would relate to the next chapter. But I did it so, enjoy.

Dre P.O.V

One hour.

It's been one hour since the whole thing went down. We were just sitting in the living room, still processing everything that just happened. I mean, I knew she would react that way, but not as bad a she did.

We were just all in the living room waiting for her to come back, and forgive us just like that. More like hoping though.

"Maybe we should go looked for her." I suggested but the guys shook their head.

"She has to cool off." Andrew told me. I sighed and threw my head back closing my eyes. This silence is pissing me off.

A phone started to ring, and I thanked god. Andrew pulled out his phone and looked at the screen. He tapped on the screen and few times, then put the phone on the table.

"Wassap Jamie?"

"We're outside open the door." We all looked at each other confused, but Jaden got up and opened the door. The two girls walked in and looked all over the place.

"Where's CJ?" Kendra asked.

"What you mean?" Andrew looked at them.

"She said she was coming over an hour ago, and we haven't seen her. So we thought she just came back."

"Nah, she ain't come back. Did you call her?"

"Yeah, at least 10 times but I didn't get any rings it went straight to voice mail."

"She did sound really upset, what happened?"

"We told her about the gang." They looked at each other.

"Finally." Kendra blew out a breath of relief. "So she came back and went upstairs trying to figure everything out?"

"Nah, she left. That's why were asking about what you meant, when asked where CJ was."

"Call her again, and put it on speaker." Andrew suggested. Jamie did just that and put her phone on speaker. It rang about once, but then went straight to voice mail.

"See, no answer."

"Dre try and call her."

"She ain't gonna answer me-"

"Just try mane." I sighed and took out my phone, going to my contacts. I pressed on CJ's name and put it on speaker. It rang but quickly went right to voice mail.

"Why don't y'all try?" I told Jaden and Andrew. Andrew called first but the same thing that happened to me and Jamie, happened to Andrew. Jaden tried after but the same thing happened.

"Maybe her phone is just off." Jaden said, unsure.

"No, she wouldn't turn it off. CJ never turns off her phone, especially since she was on her way to my house. Plus if she did, that still doesn't make any sense 'cause she was supposed to come over." Jamie explained.

"Then—Kendra did you try?" I asked. She shook her head.

"No, but let me try." Kendra answered.

"I'll keep calling." Jamie said.

Kendra took out her phone and looked at her screen.

"My phone's not on. Just keep calling." Jamie continued to call CJ and Kendra waited for her phone to turn on.
