The way it begins

She now had burn marks scattered over her face and other parts of her body, they weren't there before, Charlie had a gentle smile. She had changed, but She was still Tamara. Still the one he loved so dearly. Still the beautiful sunset he knew all too well

He gently put his hand on her cheek. Giggling a bit, Tamara put her hand gently on Charlie's, the burns seemed almost fresh, as if she was just healing from whatever happened "Hey,,," He said quietly. His tone was soft with a hint of worry; Charlie didn't want her to know that she made him worried. Everyone he's met didn't like to be bombarded with pity "Are you alright?" "Oh right yea yea perfectly-" Tamara knew what he hinted at, she looked at him with a look that really just said she didn't wanna talk about it, Charlie's smile widened. Not out of happiness like before, but out of understanding. A comforting one Quackity once described it as. "You're still and pretty as I remember" "Aww Charlie. Your just as kind as I remember" Tamara smiled happy to know he understood, Charlie started giggling up a storm "I still can't believe you're here!" He hugged her again, gently. She always smelled like apple juice and the peacefulness of sleep. Tamara couldn't help but giggle along, he had a addicted giggle "I'm not gonna leave again either"

While she smelled like apple juice, he smelt like well- slime "Pinky Promise?" Charlie's voice sounded soft and well— childish. Of course, he just asked for a pinky Promise. Charlie held his hand up with his pinky out. "Of course" Tamara adored the childish tone as it was something great about Charlie, she wrapped her pinky around his smiling, Charlie's face hurt from the all smiling but he couldn't help it. He broke the hug and held her hand "So, since you're back—" He dragged out the words "so" and "back" ""Do you wanna hang out?" The childish tone stayed; he couldn't help it! He was so excited, Tamara never minded his child like attitude it was adorable

"Of Course Charlie!" "Yesss!" Charlie pushed his glasses up with his free hand "Where do you wanna go? What do you wanna do?" "Anywhere's fine!" Tamara giggled loudly. "Oh! I have somewhere to show you!" Charlie said quickly full of excitement, leading her to the needle point restaurant back in Las Navadas. He hadn't let go of her hand "I know you're gonna love this place, Tam!" "Alrigthy then slime!"

Tamara ran beside him exited to see where he was taking her, whatever it was it was beautiful "Oh?" Charlie looked up at the tall building

"It's up there!" He was basically bouncing of the walls at this point. He bowed motioning for Tamara to walk infront and into the elevator, He walked in after her and pressed the button. He was jumping in place watching the numbers go up
