CHAPTER THREE: truth
I was in a school where we could get money and awards from having a talent like singing, dancing, sports, arts. I never got an award.
I was failing in a lot of classes, teachers would scold me for that. Many students would judge and make fun of me, except for my best friend Erica. We both didn't have awards, until she suddenly got one for writing a good novel. she got herself on the "wall of talent". I was jealous of her, I started avoiding her. my parents compared me to Erica. I got mad at Erica and my parents. I wanted to be on the wall of talent too! I decided to fake having a "talent". I payed a person who was good at math to help me get the answers in our upcoming math competition. I won, I eventually got put on the wall of talent, I was so happy. Everything changed until the person I hired wasn't responding to me anymore. That was when It was time for my next math competition. I got terrified and PRETENDED to lose my voice. The principle and teachers let me rest. My best friend Erica was suspicious of me, she pinched me and I accidentally spoke. She was shocked and was off to tell the teachers. I grabbed her hair and knocked her down. I was so scared that I decided to kill her so she couldn't tell. The police found her body and saw my fingerprints on her face. They inspected it and called me. They said, "did you murder Erica Williams?". I got scared and couldn't hide the fact that I killed my only best friend. I told the truth to the police because I was so guilty. I was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
