Rohit understood that green was a bit hesitant. Oh how he missed it, the guy who was scoring so well in IPL, was actually not more than 23, Just a kid same age of ishaan or gill. He remembered Green looked the same way when he first met Rohit on first day of MI camp.

Green- Ro, you know this is my first Icc tournament & I dont know , i feel so much of emotions in a go, I feel happiness, fear, lots of expectations and.. you understand right.
I understand, said Rohit with a smile.
He sees a cafe & says , lets go there , i heard they make good coffee.

Rohit- Green, u know it obvious to feel like this. Its your first ICC tournament, you will feel happy, afraid, nervous, anxiety , it common. You know when i played my first t-20 wc in 2007, i was feeling the same.

Rohit- You know over the years i have played so many icc tournaments but still today i feel like that. The burden of expectations from your team mates, fans, country people. U know but never let this type of feeling get on ur head. Be positive & calm & everything will fall in line .
Green was now just listening to Rohit.
Rohit- You know these Icc tournaments, they are good, playing them is another level feeling, but you know these Icc tournament can also break your heart, even when you give all of your hardwork & time . said Ro , his thoughts going back to 2019 wc, 2021 wtc & 2022 t-20 wc.

Yaa yaa i am fine said Rohit with a chuckle, but Green could see a pinch of sadness in it.

Just then a waiter brought two cup of coffees for them.

Green- Really, btw i am in ur opposite team, u know naa captain Ro. he laughed.
Rohit smiles & says- Yaa , and my bowlers are ready too mr green.
They both laughs. They hi-fied.
What Rohit failed to notice that an extremely notorious Jaddu & calm Pujara were there too.
Jaddu & Pujji just had entered the cafe for coffee & Jaddu eyes fell on Rohit & green. He smriked evilly.
Jaddu No , pujara tried to say something but jaddu shut him up. How can Jaddu let a way to trouble Rohit like that go. Afterall Rohit deserves punishment for sticking with that polly, david, jason, & jos too much during IPL. Polly , Jason, david for once were in his team but this Jos, Ro even was sticking to much as yuzi told them.
Jaddu took his phone & clicked pics of green & Ro laughing, talking, hi-fying & sent it too the Ict group.
Here Ro & green walks towards hotel.
Green thanks Ro, u know i really wanted to let it out to someone.
I am always there for you. They reached hotel.
Rohit smiles & they hug.
Ro- And dont take pressure , ok, be ready for challenge, it wont be easy.

I will go to my room than said green, he was abt to go but turns & says , Ro can i have tonight dinner with you, in your room or you come to mine.

He hears a voice which said EXCUSE ME.
Green & Rohit turned to the voice it was Ishaan standing there with Gill, Yashashvi & Shardul .
Ro looked & them & he shouted "I AM IN TROUBLE " in his mind.

Ishaan- Actually green woh we have team bonding session today night, So bhaiya is not free tonight, he said with a over the top sweet smile.

Gill & Yashashvi too huffed & walk behind Ishaan.
Rohit looked at other side where Virat, jaddu were standing & smriking , Ajju, ashwin , puji were facepalmed while surya & Shardul gave him a helpless smile.
Rohit realises his mobile was vibrating & he saw the whatsapp notification from Rishu, Shreyas, Boom.
Damn I am in too much trouble. His mind shouted.
