All of Jameson's trials seemed partially successful, so he decided the next best thing to do was try checking for oxygen. The group decides to order a oxygen detector from the web. Three days later, it arrives.
Dawn says, "Why is there a weird device thingy on the table." Jameson replies, "It's to detect oxygen. What do you expect." "Well why don't you just go in yourself?" Jameson responds, "What if they don't breath oxygen?" "Good point."
And so the group, with the help of an engineer dad, creates a device. "This device sends the signals from the oxygen detector to my computer. And it can return," Jameson says. The rest of the group gasps in awe. They send the device in.
After a few seconds it starts detecting oxygen, and a livable amount at that. Jameson says, "I'm going in." The group warns him not to as he packs a bag with a gun, some water, and a notepad. "I said I'm going in."
Jameson grabs two crystals and a sheet of copper. He tapes one crystal to his hand and slaps his hand on the sheet of copper...
He sees a spectacle of dozens of vibrant colors, almost as if he's flying through space. He ends up high up in a tree, many feet from the surface below. He carefully climbs down the tree onto the luscious plain below. It's beautiful in an exotic way. He looks into the forest and sees the same vibrancy around him. It is blissful.
Jameson walks around for a short while, discovering a village filled with those bird-like organisms he saw earlier. He decides to hide from them and not enter. He does not know what they would do. As he turns around, he sees something in the distance. It's dog like, about a foot tall. It appears just like the thing on the statue in the center of the village.
The dog-like creature approaches slowly. Jameson backs away, ending up in the village. The locals seem scared of him. As he slowly backs away, the creature approaches faster until it is almost running at him. He pulls out his gun but it jams so he quickly slams the socranium into the sheet of copper.
The creature is gone now. Or is it...
