Episode 2

Anne places the map on the kitchen table and intensely observes it.

"All of these landmarks seem familiar," Anne says, deep in thought as she continues to intensely observe. Carrie is standing next to the table and watches Anne intensely observe the map. She sighs then walks to take a seat next to Anne to look at the map herself, and she still hates it. She then begins to feel creeped out by the map.

"I don't know Anne, this seems a bit creepy to me," Carrie attempts to discourage Anne.

"Oh, that just makes it all the more fun!" Anne exclaims, still not looking away from intensely observing the map. Carrie rolls her eyes while trying to think of a different way to discourage her.

"Well, we have school tomorrow, we don't really have time for something like this,"

"Judging on these landmarks, I think it will only take round about an hour to get there, we can just take a few minutes to see what this x marks and then go back home, won't even be dark by the time were done," Anne finally look up from the map into carries eyes, eagerness threatening to bulge out.

"W-well, we can't just leave without mom and dad knowing," Carrie continues to try.

"I'll leave a note!" Anne jumps up and goes to the office to grab a piece of paper and a pen. She writes a note to their parents and begins packing two, great big hiking bags. She fills it with snack and water, she throws in a few flashlights and batteries. She then throws in a ponchero, one for each bag, then she adds in umbrellas and blankets, a few ropes and bungee cords. After Anne finishes packing she hands Carrie her bag.

"Anne, you literally said we would be back before dark,"

"And?"
"Why do we need all of this?"

"Just in case," She smiles and walks over to the door with too much confidence.

"Just in case what?" Carrie asks, horror lacing her voice. Anne doesn't answer and pulls Carrie out the door to begin their journey.
