Chapter 2 - First Day of School Part 2 (BriGuel)

Yana's Pov

**Dismissal Time**

"Bye, guys." I said and took my bag and got out from the classroom

I'm at the bench today, waiting for Mom to pick me up. It's so boring today because I'm alone. I think they already went home.

By the way, I'm Briana Leslie Harris. Yana for short. I'm 16 years old, Half Filipino and half American. I can't speak in tagalog because I've grown up in U.S. I have a younger sister. My father passed away. We have companies in other countries. We just flew back here at Philippines last year. I transferred Into another school but I did'nt like the other students there because a lot of them were bullies. But luckily, I'm not one of the bullied students there. So I transferred here at GIU because I heard they have great facilities here. I will tell you my secret. I like Miguel, yes, Danna's brother. I just don't know why I like him. Maybe because of is charms, or because of his kind of badboy type? I don't know. But still, I like him.

"YANA!" I looked back and saw Danna running towards me

"Oh hey, Danna. What's up?" I said

"Nothing. I was just walking to the Canteen when I saw you sitting here. I thought you're already home." Danna said

"Really? That's what I thought too!" I exclaimed and we both laughed

"DANNA! SAN KA BA NAGPU-PUPUNTA?!" Danna and I both looked back and saw Miguel walking towards us with his eyebrows met

I don't know if I was just imagining but when Miguel saw me, his face softened a little bit. But I really don't know if that really happen, okay?!

"Ano ka ba, Kuya! Maka-sigaw ka parang kinidnap ako eh! Chill naman jan!" Danna said

"Chill?! Eh pano kung nadapa ka o nasubsob ha?! Makapag-chill ka pa kaya?!" Miguel angrily said

"Si Kuya masyadong pikunin! Diba, Yana?" Danna said and looked at me

"Actually, I can't understand even a single word in your conversation." I honestly said

"Ay, oo nga pala noh? Di ka pala marunong mag tagalog. Hehe. Sorry." Danna said

Oh, she's apologizing, isn't she? Bdcause I heard she said 'Sorry'. Hehe.

"Nah, it's fine." I said

*bzzt bzzt*

I looked at my phone.

From: Mom
Yana, I can't fetch you today. I have loads of work to do. Is it okay if you go home with some of your friends? If they can't bring you home, just text me so I can tell the driver to pick you up, okay? Love you.

"What is it?" Danna said

"Napaka chismosa." Miguel said

"Ano ba, Kuya?! Paka epal mo rin minsan eh!" Danna said

"Tss." Miguel said with a cat face

Oh-kay?

"So.. what is it?" Danna said and looked at me

"Mom can't pick me up today. She's busy at work." I said

"Oh, really? Well, we can bring you home! Right, Kuya?" Danna said
