Your POV
I awoke drowsily, barely being able to open my eyes to see a familiar face...
Inches away from mine.
"Ughhh you move so much in your sleep ya know doll" Lefty groaned attempting to rise from the bed with you still on him.
"Stop moving you oaf" you countered pushing off his chest to try and stabilize yourself.
"Geez you wanna leave me already, harsh" Lefty mumbled pulling you back into him.
"WHAT ARE YOU-"
"Hey, you're ok with me ya know right?" Lefty contradicted you.
You paused momentarily carefully considering your answers and how he'd respond to each suit.
If you freaked out more he would most likely feel a bit bad, guilty even.
Otherwise he'd probably make another joke out of it...you could never tell whether he was being serious or acting out of clause. It was too hard to read him, even for you at the time.
The amount of time you zoned out frightened Lefty more than any reaction you could've had. And as soon as you came back into consciousness it was of high clarity.
After a moment of consideration you decided to drop the act and sink into the fluffy bear below you. He smelled like blackberries and cherries quite the heavenly scent to wake up to. Lefty realized the situation immediately and took full advantage of it, wrapping his lanky arms around you; engulfing you in a swarm of his scent and fur. No matter what you tried no pillow or blanket could compare to the feeling in your stomach. Butterflies or now moths seemed to swarm in your belly as you relaxed into a deep sleep with your beloved bear.
No matter what happens you couldn't risk him getting hurt by another, you simply wouldn't risk it
