I was walking home disappointed in myself. I just got fired from my only job that was my last option. Tears went down my face as I walk fast home. I wanted to break down but I held back my tears. I got home as I open the door then close it behind me. I try to walk straight to my room but eddie catches me before I do. "hey pretty lady welcome ho-" he stopped looking at me "hey hey beautiful what's wrong?" He stands.

I break down in tears as hard sobs escape from my mouth. He runs over and pulls me close holding me tight. "damn it what happened now...shh shh it's okay" he gently rubs my cheeks as I cry into his chest. "I-i g-got fired!" I cry at him as I hid my face. He sighs "princess..hey look at me" he slightly tilts my chin up. I look at him wiping my tears. "Why did this happen?" "I-i was b-being rude o-or I w-was giving a attitude to a-a customer.." I slightly roll my eyes

My manager made that up I'm sure of it. Me being the only colored girl working it had to be me to get fired. I mean damn. Even the other people don't work as hard as I do. Eddie gently rubbed my cheek as I sniffle. "Listen..I can handle this for you okay? I'll find you another one....well I mean Steve works at the video store I'm sure he will help you know?" I nod hiding my face still .

"Hey" I snap out my thoughts looking up at him. He smiles "you'll be okay as long as Im here okay? As long as I'm here princess I promise. Now go shower." He kissed my head. I nod and go to take a shower.

-30 min later-

I waddle into the living room eddie playing Dungeons & Dragons me forgetting he was having the boys over today. I wanted his attention. I pout softly "eddie.." he doesn't hear me. I chew my lip and look at him. I walk over and slightly massage his shoulders I lean on him "eds" I said knowing he didn't like being called that while the group was around. Some of them giggled looking at her.

He slightly looked at me then pats his lap. I sit down on it as I face him hugging his neck as i Nuzzled in it. He continues to explain there quest to the group as they still was gasping and shocked at what was head of them. I slightly rubs my eyes as I hid my face. He looks down at me while the group talked on what to do "everything okay?" He mumbles. I nod and smile A bit.

Eddie gently looked at me "wanna play?" I nod and sit up as I face the group putting my hair up as I smirk and watch them then start to explain to them what is going down.

Mike POV

"Dude just tell us her height that's all we want!" Dustin yelled as he plays. I chuckles "come on Dustin I'm sure It's easy to find out" i stares into  y/n eyes trying to figure it out  "well I'm not saying anything" she covers her mouth. "Eddie?-" one of his other friends look at him. Eddie raised his hands showing he's not apart of it . I sigh and rub my chin thinking as I look at the Figure as I look at her. She was very beautiful to me. Then Eddie came and took her from me. I don't care if I'm with el she wouldn't know anyways.

Dustin rolls the dice as She hisses "bad choice! Now he's in your house grabbing you. You have a chance to get away do you want to risk it and stab his eye?" She smirks . I sigh and rub my eyes. The other guy there Whisper's "guys guys. He doesn't have eyes-" "we know" the group says. While they talk I get distracting watching y/n and Eddie. Yes she's a year above me (they are sophomores in this) but she's just. I don't know

"Guys please just choose!" I say as gaten nods "okay we will take the risk and stab him." "So be it." She grabs the piece and knocks it over "your dead. Game over" she laughs at all of us. Eddie smirks and mumbles to her as he rubs her hip. Everyone groans in defeat as I rub my face staring at the bored. We get up to take a break as I stood by the wall of the trailer as Dustin comes up to me "hey your okay?" "Yea just confused. Why is he with her. She's nothing like him". Dustin looks over "there actually really alike. It's alright I know you miss el-" "that's not it Dustin. I need her" I mumble. And I'll do anything just to do that.
