The velvety floor carpet met with the sound of her pointy peeptoe heels as she walked towards her suit on the third floor of the hotel. Mishti Acharya was pissed, to say the least. She had come in for a business conference and it had been beautifully normal until.. Until, he made an introductory entrance. She pursed her lips into one of pure annoyance and felt her cheeks go hot in anger. Her ruby red lips were trying too hard to not let go of the sophisticated demeanor and scream out loud at the predicament. Her beige off-shoulder gown reached till her ankles, enveloping her curves perfectly, her slit showing off her long legs and her sleek straight center partitioned hair made her look like a tempting siren.. A raging tempting siren was the word for her. The hallway was empty except for the security cameras and a butler scurrying away from one room to the other. She snapped at him when he came to her, clearly not in the mood to entertain people. She had a calm personality but today wasn't the day for calmness. Not when there was a calamity in the form of a human. She fumbled with her key card and when the door wouldn't open, she let out an exasperated scream "Damn It !!!"
"Perhaps, there is a gentler way of assaulting the poor key card"
Mishti closed her eyes and signed. Oh God please, she thought. This could not be him. She already had to put up with him in the business conference and now she didn't want to face him again. Frankly, she didn't think she had any strength left in her. She heard footsteps closing in on her and her breath hitched. He was right behind her. She felt his hand closing in on hers and her hand tightened. He smoothly removed the key card from her. Mishti Acharya turned around to face him - Ronobir Chatterjee. Their history dated back to their days from their Business School. Both joined at the same time and got off to a bad start. When they knew they could work it out amongst each other, they decided on a "No Strings Attached" until they parted on different ways only to meet again as Business Associates pitted against each other.
"I was perfectly fine thanks. I can do it by myself."
She moved to snatch the keycard from him but he was way too taller than her and her peeptoe heels failed in contrast to his towering height. She let out an annoyed huff and let go trying, lest she fell on her face. Though she wished he fell on his face. Ronobir Chatterjee placed the keycard and there was a click citing that the door was open. Mishti walked inside her suite without a second look at him and moved to close the door but Ronobir stopped it with his foot. She looked at him with a questioning gaze. What did he want now !!
"Tsk.. Tsk.. Mishti Acharya just forgot her manners by not inviting someone that helped her, in.. How bad.."
Ronobir - 1, Mishti - 0
He snickered at the woman infront of him. he saw the nerve on her neck twitch a bit. He always loved to rile this woman up not matter what.. Her anger brought out the pleasure in him. She looked like a siren when angered and he loved up. Mishti Acharya pursed her lips at the audacity of the man standing infront of her with that infamous smirk plastered on his face. She couldn't give it to him to have the upper hand.
"I would... But I am not welcome people with the instincts of an moron, in. That would go against my mannerisms."
Take that you Chatterjee.. Mishti - 1, Ronobir - 1
"Well then.. I'll suffice with a heroic entry in, by myself."
With that Ronobir Chatterjee moved Misthi Acharya aside and walked into her suite, leaving her to gawk at his move. He looked around the suite and held his nose high.
"When I came here, I was told I was given the biggest suite. But I was lied to."
"Maybe even the people know who deserves what."
