Chapter 3

" I AM SO SO SORRY! Aaron says for the last time till Mei puts a hand over his mouth and shushes him. Then Mei proceeds to whisper something to Tyler that Aaron can only hear:

"Outside. Protection."

Tyler's face goes as red as Mei's panda and practically screams for Mei to shut up. And something about being too young. This was enough for Aaron to get it as well now not only Tyler but now also Aaron is red. Mei completely ignores both red faced stuttering boys and asks them to go pick up her phone from the car so she can show Robiare photos of her family shrine and Temple. The two tomatoes not having the brain capacity to disagree walked awkwardly to the car that was in the Parking lot 10 minutes away.

Finally Aaron Z had the guts to speak.

"Hey, why is the car so far away?"

"I don't know, maybe because of all the news people blocking HALF THE PARKING LOT." Tyler replies half sarcastically. Inside though he was still short circuiting. Sure Aaron Z was talking to him but unlike Abby and the others he did not take it as that he had a crush on him. Aaron probably had loads of fan girls to pick from and anyway he was probably straight. (Heart stopper vibes be like)

" So, um, what does the car look like? We are at the end of the parking lot."

" Oh um. It's that one, the red one." Tyler says as he points at a red car in the distance and proceeds to fish out a pair of car keys from the pocket of his jeans. Aaron suddenly started running full pace to the car screaming something that Tyler assumes means 'race you' but is not quite sure. He starts to run anyway, catching up with Aaron quite quickly because of his sportiness.

"HOW, HUFF, ARE YOU, huff, SO FAST, huff?" Aaron asks confused and out of breath while Tyler was still jumping around. " Two words. ADHD and sport." Tyler replies with a smug look on his face. It was quickly wiped off his face when Aaron told him that because ADHD was an acronym and so it counted as 4 words. While saying this Aaron got so close to his face it turned him red. Tyler pushed him off stuttering out nonsense and mumbling about a phone and car. When he unlocked the car and checked there was no phone in sight. Aaron saw his look of concern and helped him look. When they found nothing the worry built in Tyler. He drew to one conclusion Mei had forgotten her phone at home. He informed Tyler and then they proceeded to go back.

When they got back they were hit with the sight of Mei and Robiare snickering looking at something on Mei's phone. Tyler was filled with frustration. She can't just keep putting him in awkward situations with his straight crush giving him bi panic. Without thinking he went to another seat away from the two snickering teens dragging Aaron with him. He then plopped himself down and pulled Aaron down with him. They sat there awkwardly with Aaron shifting and Tyler huffing in pure frustration and annoyance. Aaron slowly put his hand on Tyler and Tyler turned round so fast it made Aaron jump but nonetheless he asked the question.

"Hey Tyler I love you so much, please don't be angry. Will you go out with me?"

"Tyler~ Tyler? TYLER!"

"Huh, Huh?" Tyler snapped out of his daydream and looked at Aaron and revealed he had spaced out.

" Sure is not an answer to 'Are you ok' Tyler.'

"Oh right sorry. Yeah all good! Hahaha, why would I be mad?" Tyler awkwardly said to add even more embarrassment and awkwardness he added an awkward laugh that sounded more like a choke. Aaron raised an eyebrow. He was wondering if Tyler not only had ADHD but was also mentally unstable. Once Tyler had pulled himself together. 4 Ttown were leaving since all the press had gone. Aaron passed him a business card with a phone number on it and the words text me in black smudged ink. Then without a word he left to join his friends. Tyler on the other hand was internally screaming and face palming.

HE GAVE HIM HIS NUMBER! But it could be because he was just being kind. He had screwed up in front of Aaron Z and made it really uncomfortable and awkward. But he still gave his number! It must mean something! While this internal debate went on in his head he didn't see Mei and Abby approach and he didn't notice how they got him on his feet and guided him back to the car. He only noticed that they had gotten back to his house and were getting ready for a sleepover. After the festivities of what many would call a successful sleepover. They were all in bed. Abby and Mei had passed out on the bed together. Priya and Miriam were cuddling and looking at instagram together. Miriam would always comment whenever Priya liked one of her girlfriends posts. Tyler looked out the bashed and folded card out of his pocket and put the number in his contacts. Once he did he texted Aaron that it was him and good night. He got a good night back and then a heart emoji. Feeling his face flush he put the phone down and said good night to the girls and fell asleep.
