Chapter 3

Before we could say anything else, I saw my mother running down the hallway, crying.

"Mom!" I yell, going up to her.

"Alice is he okay?"

"He'll be fine, mom, they're doing something on him, then he needs rest. I'll probably stay here so you can go home." I explain.

"C-Can I go in?" She says, whipping away tears from her dark brown eyes.

"Well, they told me and Ellie to wait out here, so probably not."

My mom nodded, telling me she had to go out and get a 'present' or whatever for Collin after he wakes. I'm not really sure why people give gifts to people after they almost died.

Like, 'You almost died, congratulations.' But oh well.

I watched mom as she walked down the hallway. I turned to Ellie.

"That IS Cry, isn't it?" She whispered in my ear.

"Yes, obviously," I whisper back, "But just shut up about it. He's a human, not a puppy, he probably just said that so we wouldn't explode over seeing him."

Cry then coughed.

I turned towards him.

"So, what's your name?" I had the urge to put an enthusiastic 'Cry' at the end of my question, but I didn't, as I realized it would be rather rude.. Or.. Would make me seem too much of a smart-ass.

"Rya- I mean Cr- I mean Xaviar."

"Oh," I said, trying to keep a straight face.

"Yep. Well, I have to go, maybe I'll see you later, I stalked- I mean I heard you and your mom talking, you're staying here? I'm staying with my grandmother, since she's sick." He said.

Is he trying to make everything so obvious?

"Yep, maybe, bye.."

"See ya'!" And he went off into the room across from us.

"Wow. His forehead had 'Hey guys I'm ChaoticMonki from YouTube' written across it, I swear." Ellie joked.

"He seems socially awkward and quiet in his videos, I guess he's like that in real life too," I say, a smile forming on my face.

"Did'ya see that ass, though?" Ellie smirked.

"Ellie!" I said, glaring at her.

"But.. It's true," she replied, looking down dramatically.

"I just.. Like I said.. He isn't a puppy."

"Whatever, it's just because you have a /huge/ YouTube crush on him, right? It's your ass, right?"

"Ellie!" I repeated, and she smugly grinned.

"What?" She asked.

"Wh- never mind." I say.
