It was a warm breezy Sunday and Kyungsoo was still sleeping. Through the night he was always moving in his bed, that's why his blanket was on the ground and one of his arms was hanging off the side of the bed. A few rays of light filled his room and he rubbed his eyes while sitting up in his bed. He sat in silence for a moment before standing up. He threw his blanket back up on his bed and opened his door. He went into the washroom beside his bedroom and washed up. Afterwards he returned to his room and changed into a pair of jeans and a plaid buttoned shirt. He went into his kitchen and prepared a glass of orange juice, toasted bread and took an apple from the counter. When the bread was toasted he spread butter on the bread. He later finished his breakfast and got ready to go to work.
Kyungsoo lived a simple life even though he was an young upcoming actor. Some recognized him in the mall or when he was walking through Seoul. But not many knew who he was... yet. He lived alone with his dog, Enzo. His parents always supported him in what ever he did, but some unfortunate events occurred and they couldn't be on the planet to support him. But he always knew they would always support him even though they were no longer alive. He didn't have any siblings nor cousins because his parents had also been single children. At times he felt lonely. He never really had anyone to talk to, and no one who he knew really had loved him except for his parents.
Enzo ran out of the spare bedroom because something had woken him up. Enzo jumped onto the couch in front of the front window and started barking. Kyungsoo moved toward Enzo.
"Hey buddy what's wrong?" He said quietly to the dog while approaching. Then he saw it... he saw her. He didn't know her, but at the first sight of her he saw how beautiful she was. He didn't know how to describe it but he felt something spark in his chest. The girl walked on the sidewalk in front of his house. She was carrying a bag on her shoulder. Kyungsoo just kept staring until she threw something at the house. Kyungsoo flinched when he heard whatever she threw thud on the door. He immediately opened the door and yelled,
"Hey what was that for?!"
"Paper, paper." She shouted back.
Kyungsoo looked down at his feet to see the newspaper she threw. He picked it up and looked at her. That's when he fell. Not physically, but his heart fell. She was now facing him and he looked into her eyes for a moment then admired all her features.
"Aren't you too beautiful to be handing out the paper?"
"Uh no." She was blushing at his comment. She hid it by turning her back on him and then she started to walk to the next house. Kyungsoo just watched her and smiled brightly. She stole one more glance before he went back in his house and closed the door.
Kyungsoo had butterflies in his stomach. He didn't know what he was feeling but it felt good. He put the paper on his bed and left the house to head to taping. As he got in his car he thought to himself.
Did I just fall?
