Next week
Kyungsoo fell asleep on the couch Saturday night while reading his last lines for the finale of his drama that would be shot later that day. His alarm was not on his phone, it was Enzos barking. Enzo was atop the couch and Kyungsoo looking at Enzo then sat up to see that girl from last week again. It was raining lightly that morning and there was light winds. Kyungsoo rushed to grab an umbrella and ran out the door even though he was still in his pjs. The moment he stepped out the door something hit his chest. He watched the paper the girl threw fall to the first step leading to his door. She put her hand to her mouth and said sorry multiple times. He approached her with the umbrella.
"Look come inside for a bit."
"I won't go inside a strangers house!"
"Fine if you don't want to come in at least stay under the roof of the front of my house. I want to change and walk with you." The girl was blushing and she agreed. Kyungsoo quickly pulled on some sweats and put a sweater over his t-shirt. He left his room at find the girl standing in his living room.
"So you did come in." He grinned at the sight of her. He couldn't really take his eyes off of her. The girl shyly smiled at him as he took the umbrella from her hand. Kyungsoo lead the girl out the door and he locked it. He opened the umbrella and held it so that the girl wouldn't get wet. He didn't mind a few drops hitting him. He stood close to her and she didn't seem to mind it.
"So what's your name you beautiful girl?" She blushed when he said beautiful.
"Minji. Lee Minji." She said quietly.
"That's so pretty." Kyungsoo whispered to himself.
"What's yours? Cute boy..." She almost couldn't get it out of her mouth.
"This cute boys name is Do Kyungsoo. But If you want you can just call me cute boy." He smiled brightly at her.
She was comforted by his company even though, to her, he was a complete stranger.
"How old are you Minji?" He asked quietly.
"I'm 21. How about you?"
"22."
Kyungsoo thought to himself. He thought it was a good age gap between them two. He wondered if they would see eachother more often. If she would say yes if he asked her out. He wondered if she'd still pass by to throw the paper.
"Will we get to see eachother more?"
It came out from Minjis mouth, not Kyungsoo. He just smiled at her, then in an instant he put his hand on her shoulder and held her close. For some reason Minji didn't feel creeped out. She moved her side bag behind her back and put her arms around his waist and hugged him. He hugged back when he felt it. There was another spark in Kyungsoos chest. When they let go Kyungsoo gave Minji the umbrella and bid her goodbye. He had to get back home to get ready for work. He would be really happy for the rest of the day. When he got back home he flopped on his couch for a moment.
I've definitely fallen for her now.
