After fighting a bunch of mostly weak demons it finally all came to an end once you completed your seven-day stay in the mountains.
"Welcome back," one of the twin girls said, you looked around and noticed most of those people who were there in the beginning, didn't come back out.
"Congratulations, I am glad you are safe. We will provide you with your corps uniforms now, we need to take measurements." Said one twin before the other spoke up
"There are ten demon slayer ranks: Mizunoto, Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchi-noto, Tsuchi-noe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe, right now you all are the lowest rank of mizunoto"
"well that certainly isn't surprising..." you thought
"Today you will choose the ore for your sword, it will take two weeks for the katana to be finished, then you will be assigned a kasugai crow" your ore a crow then landed on your shoulder and you admired its features, it was just a plain crow but it was quite pretty.
Soon after one of the guys who had a somewhat large scar on his face grabbed onto one of the twins causing the boy, who had burgundy hair to grab onto the other guy's arm and lightly argue
"Please do not argue and fight!" You spoke up too late, the guy who started this arm was broken after the black and burgundy haired boy squeezed it
You walked over towards the boy with a broken arm and tried to lightly grab his arm but he pushed you away
"What do you think you doing!"
"I just want to help! I can heal your arm" you grabbed his arm once more and quickly used your chakra to try and heal his arm before he pushed you away again
"Hey!..." the boy stopped talking once his arm seemed to feel normal again
"How'd you do that?"
"Chakr-" you were cut off when one of the twins started to speak
"Are you done?" Your sweatdropped at this question
"Please choose the making for your katana." You walked forward with the others and picked ore for your sword, you chose Scarlet Crimson Ore and then eventually left.
You walked towards your house, happy to tell your family you succeeded
"Brother Neji!" You ran towards the training ground where he trains and as you expected, he was training
"Y/N, you survived" Neji wanted to hug you but he would rather keep his emotions to himself, when he went through the final selection with his friends, he was the only one to survive
He had quite a lot of friends, tenten, lee, he was friends with a lot of people some people were his closest friends, some weren't, but it still hurt to know all of them died, he wouldn't know what to do if you also died
"Yes, it was hard but I...I did it" you smiled while looking at Neji, hoping he was proud of you
In the midst of this, your father walked toward the both of you
"Nice to know you've survived, maybe you can finally be useful to the Hyuga clan" he spoke, he didn't even sound a bit proud of you
You didn't even have a chance to reply as he walked back inside the house
