Mist of Memories

Lets beginning the story !!

So this story starts on the fateful day of 1st  of October 2019 , when I just turned 16 . The day before the 1st was my brother 's 3rd birthday so I didn't go to school because I wanted to celebrate his birthday with him and our family , mom and papa . So on the 1st I walked from my house to the road to wait for the school bus .

After like waiting of 10 minutes , the bus came and do you the biggest shock I got when i climbed in , was that every student in that bus was in casual clothes , like we had a uniform for school so I was pretty shock and even more embarrassed because like being the only person in uniform on that day was so weird. 

So I slowly went and sat down near one of the juniors in school , like a little nangi (little sister) , and I asked her what was going on , and she said that school has let us wear what ever we want to school because today was Children's day.  Ok I was shock to learn this and I was pretty upset that not one of my friends told me about this .

So while was debating with my thoughts , we got to school and after getting down , i like ran towards my class , like I didnt run because if I was to run up a hill and up staircases of 4 floors I would be dead by the time i got to my class , so more like speed walk to my class . When i got there Rose and Minnie was there just chatting away with few of our friends and they all were in casual clothes,  Rose was wear a blue jeans  with a super cute floral print crop top with her hair up in a ponytail.  And Minne was wear black jeans and a white hoodie with pdint on the arms of the hoodie and her hair in high ponytail . I have to say my bestie look damn cute and hot like all the boys were staring at them with a dreamy look in their eye , which I found super funny because we come to school everyday but they dont have that look on their face ,some guys does not all of them but if you are casual clothes they stare the life out of you .

So I was fuming with angry in a way so I marched right up my two best friends ,

" Guys why didn't you guys tell me that we can wear casual clothes today?"

"Sis didnt you get our messages telling you that we can wear them to school today , like this is so typical you like dont check her phone most of the time " Minnie said to me

"Yeah , so true , you bitch dont use her phone,  just on her laptop watching movies about prince charming coming to save a princess " said Rose

"Ohh dear God,  that's right I didnt use my phone yesterday because I was too busy with my brother's birthday , and for your information Rosie I dont watch that kind of movies , those are for kiddio " I said to her

" Yeah , right like you not a kid who still loves Disney princesses and Disney movies but babes that's what make you , you like our crazy loving friend" Rose with a big smile on her face

" Aww thanks girl , you know what to say when I am down , but right now we have a huge wardrobe emergency because I am still in uniform " I said

" Like we can ask Miss Jasmine to call your parents to get you some clothes to school , right ? " Minnie said (Guys for your information,  in sri Lanka we cannt bring  phones to school )

" Yup , but were is she , maybe in the staff room ? " Rose said

" Yes , maybe let's go and see " I said

I left my bag in the class and we walked to the teacher's staff room , where Miss Jasmine was there for my luck . I asked her if I could call home to get some clothes and she let me call my mom and i told my mom about the situation and she told me that she is at her office but today papa was home so he can get me my outfit , but I told my mom please reminded papa what he has to bring for me including shoes .

My mom told me it will take about 30 minutes or so for my papa to get to school with my outfit and shoes , after the call , I gave the phone back to Miss Jasmine and walked back to class .

So when we were walking back to the class , like student from the class infront of us was out in the corridor,  chatting away like their life is on the line , I know I am making it a big deal but it  is , because they were so loud , anyways I saw them eyeing me because I was in uniform , not just eyeing me but full on staring at me .

So when we got to our class , I sat down and drank some water because today morning was hectic for me , I had to have a breather after that .
