Max, Derek and Scott come running into the parking lot only for Derek to throw his arms out in front of them making them stop. Looking down, there was a giant puddle of water and the broken wire sat in the middle of it.
They looked back up to see Kira standing in the water, unfazed and grabbed the wire. The watch in shock and amazement as Kira covered the end of the wire with her fist, all the lights around them flickering as she absorbed the electricity. She opened her eyes, looking over at them with glowing orange eyes making Max's eyes do the same.
"Kitsune." The Phoenix whispered to Max with a smirk on her face.
When Kira dropped the wire, that's when Derek and Max noticed Isaac lying in the puddle making them instantly run over to them, "Isaac?" Max screamed as she grabbed him and leaned in to listen for a second looking around alarmed. "He's not breathing... Scott, he's not breathing!"

"I told you, Maxine, you two won't make it out of this alive." The Phoenix said, appearing behind Max in her bedroom. "It's better for you to accept this now then let people you care about - let this town burn."
Max picked up a photo of her and Stiles on her mirror and crumpled it up into a ball before letting it on fire. She turned around throwing it at The Phoenix only for her to disappear. Max held back her scream as she ran over and stomped out the photo.
The edges only burnt leaving the faces untouched.
Max took a deep breath as she walked down the stairs only to hear her mom yelling on the phone. "Mom?" She called out, causing her mother to hang up quickly. "Hey, are you going to school? I told you it's okay if you want to stay home." Amy sighs looking over at her daughter.
"Where's dad?" Max asked, walking down the stairs. "He's - He already left for work. Are you sure you don't want to stay home and we can wait to hear anything?" Amy asked and Max shook her head.
"Okay, well then I'll go to the Sheriff's office and try to keep Noah calm. Maybe someone will listen to me." Amy muttered as she grabbed her things. "Mom?" Max called out, "Do you believe in destiny? That good will beat the bad?"
"I don't know." Amy admitted, "But I do know that everything will work out fine for you and after all of this is over, your grandmother will come here and we can work through everything." Amy walked over to her daughter brushing her hair out of her face and kissing her forehead.
"I love you." Amy told her quietly.
"I love you too."

"Listen up! Anybody catches the slightest glimpse of Stilinski, you contact the first available teacher, got? Got it? There's a card on my desk for Isaac Lahey, and every one of you losers is not only going to sigh it, you're gonna write a personal message so profound and deep, it's gonna bring a tear to Coach's eye! Who's first? Ah, Danny! That's how you do it, buddy! Keep it PG." Coach said to the cross-country team in the locker room.
