Chapter 19 STILL CAN'T TALK?

Lucious stood there rooted to a spot, his eyes still glued on the rogue girl who was glaring angrily at him.

He still couldn't believe it, she's finally awake.

Lucious blinked his eyes a couple of times, trying to be sure he wasn't imagining things but no matter how many times he blinked, he could still see her sitting on the bed staring back at him.

Lucious couldn't even explain how he felt at that moment. Just seeing her open her eyes felt like his whole life had been returned to him.

The rogue looked so beautiful as she sat there, her back leaning on the bed as she glared furiously at him. 

 His face pulled into a frown as he watched  her put her legs on the floor, supporting her body with her hands as she tried to get off the bed. 

She had barely taken a step when her whole body came crashing down.

Lucious didn't know when his heart skipped a beat as he saw her about to fall to the ground.

Without thinking, Lucious feet rushed forward catching her just in time before she hits the floor.

The rogue girl ended up falling straight into his arms as Lucious' strong hands held her by the waist. 

Lucious stared into the innocent blue eyes that were staring back at him.

" Be careful" He breathed out forcing the girl in his hands to jerk away.

She tried walking again. This time she managed to take a few steps before her knees finally gave way, forcing her whole body to crash to the ground.

Alarmed, Lucious rushed forward to hold her as he tried to help her up. The girl  furiously shakes his hands off her body pushing him away before she tried to get up once more.

This small action made Lucious' wolf whined , watching how she glared at him, hatred evident in her eyes.

The girl attempted to stand up once more but instead, fell back into Lucious' waiting arms.

Lucious couldn't help but let out a small smirk as he saw all the girl's attempt to get away from him fail.

Without warning,  he quickly picked her up, carrying her bridal style as he walked to the bed. The girl hit his chest over and over again trying to get him to drop her but he paid no need to her.

" Raphael send Dayna to my room right now!" He mind–linked his beta.

The rogue girl still squirmed and wriggled in his arms furiously but he doesn't let go till he reached her bed.

" Your wolf is still weak" Lucious said frowning his face at the struggling girl in his arms.

" So just stop this and wait till you fully recover before you even think of  running away from here !" He yelled sternly, his harsh tone made the girl stop moving immediately.

" Good" He said as he puts her down gently on the bed.

Lucious looked at her for a while before he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

He didn't even bother locking the room again because he knew the rogue girl was too weak to even walk, let alone run away.

Minutes later, Lucious returned to the room with a clean glass of water in his hands. He took long strides across the room as he walked towards the rogue's bed.

Reaching the bed, he handed the glass over to the rogue who seemed deep in thought. 

" Here " He said quietly as he stretched his hands towards her.
